The ghost of Jeff Ireland continues to loom large. Traded up for a guy that couldn't cut it in his first year, and cheated in his second year. Yeesh.
 
Jordan was weaker against the run than many fans wanted to accept. The goal line possession in the first Patriots game was outright laughable.

I don't doubt that the coaches let him know about it, and this is residue of his solution.

Too bad he didn't sign up with MusclePharm. That's Tiger Woods' latest association, in fact emblazoned on his new golf bag. That company has some dubious history in its own right.
 
This could be a blessing in disguise. It sends a strong message throughout the team about the consequences of anyone (even 6'7" gold plated 1st rounders) taking PEDs. It might scare Dion Jordan into great urgency to improve his productivity when he gets back out on the field. Dion also faces the reality that another adderall snafu and he's suspended for a year and that might scare the **** out of him. He's not injured like Pouncey, he's fully healthy and back in 4 weeks raring to go and in the meantime Wake and Olivier Vernon are still our starters and Shelby gets some more snaps. He is underestimated and determined to succeed. He also has the reputation of being one of Joe's favorite players on the team (Koa Misi is another).
 
Sorry my ass,I wish these players would gethere head outta thera asses and realize games they get suspended hurt the tea and could cost them losses in a playoff race,last year 1 win is enough said...gesshe these guys piss me off !
 
This is just making Jordan look more and more like a big bust! Here is hoping he can turn things around from here on out! Because to me he is looking almost like biggest bust in phins history considering where and how he was taken! Stupid just stupid!
 
Now i absolutely hate him for what happened, this doesn't make him a bust at all! He's a bust if he cant perform up to his hype. What this says is he's a damn idiot. Look at Jordan Cameron. Dude was suspended at the beginning of the season and had a great year. If Jordan comes back and had 10 sacks, you all will forget it.

Is he an idiot, by all means, yes. No excuse. He put himself above the team. Hopefully he learns. His leash is VERY short.

Ugh, in the end.. he's just a damn idiot. If you want to prove yourself, you need to be on the field. Kid isnt the first but kid was a jackass

This is not true. For "performance enhancing drugs", suspension occurs immediately after the first positive test. For "substance abuse" (i.e. narcotics), suspension occurs immediately after the a second failed test, or failure to comply with the NFL substance abuse program. Jordan test positive for a chemical on the PED list, not the substance abuse list.
 
I think Derrick Shelby has progressed nice too.
