I understand that. But in the same token, you look at the minority coaches that have been hired lately, and you know it is not from a race stand point, rather it is from doing and being part of something really great for a peroid of time. That shows that if a coach can maximize his players potential w/ the # of changes in todays game regardless of race, than he will eventually get that chance.Head Coaches do give those referrals to others for the progrees of those like Marvin and Romeo. Those two showed a knack for being able to adapt and still remain great on their side of the ball. You have to remember that a large # of white players do not excel at the level of their black counter-part, thus leaving the only viable option for those w/ a significant interest in staying w/ the game is to head into coaching much earlier than the ones that go on to play 10-15 years. Thus giving a larger # of white player/coaches that much more time to study the game as a whole. That is not to say that a black man is guarnteed anything more than a white man as far as success in the Nfl but it is a #s' game and they lean towards the blalcks as players and white as coaches. I hope I am getting my point across w/o a bunch of mumble???? Does this make sense to you?
