Merged:Dolphins Offseason Overview On Espn Today/ Dolphins offseason overview

ESPN seems to be saying that a turbulant offseason will ruin our season. What a crock of sh#*. If we have a bad season it will be because of coaching/injuries/bad luck or just bad play, not cause marino steped down from his position and we didn't pick up a GM from a different franchise.

:nono: ESPN has never liked the Fins. Marino stepping down will hurt them?NE1 honestly think Rickys drug ****n will make him a worse RB? Jr. Seau made an unessasary(not even tht bad) comment so hes obviously a prob?? Cmon thts ridiculous. All tht **** doesnt afftec the seasons outcome at all.

Buffalo has a much better chance of making Miami become the odd man out instead of the New York Freakin' Jets....They had coaching issues that were improved instantly in the off-season.

Anyways, as far as an intern writing the article, he didnt do enough homework. :shakeno:

Boston has a chance to make it easier for both QBs to succeed. When Boston is right, he destroys defenses. He's good for 100 receiving yards and two TDs any given Sunday. Injuries and attitude have held him back over the past two seasons. Still, he caught 70 passes and scored seven TDs for the Chargers last season. The Dolphins had only 17 receiving TDs last year, 11 from Chris Chambers, six from the rest of the team. Boston got off to a shaky start. He had trouble getting his muscular body under 240 pounds. Now, he's on pace to play at around 228 pounds and his explosiveness is coming back. Boston should easily average 14 yards per catch. That would cause more teams to double cover him at the split end position. Chambers, who is in a contract year, should put up big numbers if Boston is right. His 64 catches and 963 yards a year ago should grow into a certain 1,000-yard season.
From John Claytons little side article. Probably the best written thing of that entire article, and it wasn't even technically part of it. :D

The lack of improvements made by the division rival Bills and Dolphins could open the door for a Jets playoffs berth.
:roflmao: Lack of improvement?

According to him, signing Reggie Howard and Antuan Edwards, and drafting Will Poole, and putting them together with an already talented pass defensive core isn't improving. :shakeno:

Okay, so cutting a horrible offensive line, signing a few reliable tackles and guards, and picking up one of the best in that draft, we weren't improving. Ooh okay. :shakeno:

Bringing in David Boston, considered one of the best WR's in the game currently when at good weight isn't improving. Riiiiiight. :shakeno:

That was a bit of mixed sarcasm...I had to do it.

I'm sorry, but this writer...Marcus W. Vanderberg, has his head up his a$$ (can I say that?) if he thinks we didn't improve. :hmmm:
