GUYS WE GOT THE EXTRA FIFTH FROM THE SURTAIN TRADE>>>>>> I've seen like 10 people ask that

Miami traded its fifth-round pick (No. 138) and CB Patrick Surtain to Kansas City for the Chiefs’ second- and fifth-round picks (Nos. 46 and 162), April 22. Kansas City selected Illinois State LB Boomer Grigsby. Miami selected Iowa DE Matt Roth and Texas Christian OT Anthony Alabi.

I remembered they had swapped 5th round picks but no extra 5th in 2006.

Damn and some people originally were talking about giving a 2nd for him. In the case the possible rewards outweigh the cost. Even more so because it was a later 5th. If he doesn't work out no big deal, not many 5th rounders do.

I DIDN'T say anything negative about Wright...until someone called Tim Anderson into question...

And what was inaccurate about my assessment of Wright...he IS a fat man (he didn't run 4.7-4.8 at 329) , his work ethic HAS been questioned, and was NEVER a starter... (and he keeps failing out of school)

Why do you keep trying to call me things...I'm way to good. :evil:



For a 5th its a good pickup, because he has a shot at panning out. Obviously he isn't starter/star material yet or some other team would have taken him higher.
 
Its the mystery conditional pick we received when trading Brad Bedell to Green Bay. Surtain deal was 2005 picks only.
