Why wouldn't he come here? I say there is 90% chance we sign him.

That's what i'm thinking. Saban wouldn't let him get away. Or he could be like...

"SABAN, WHY DIDN'T YOU DRAFT ME? I'M GOING TO NEW ENGLAND!"

Please ignore me then. You cant comprehend a thing I am trying to say anyways. You got your head clear up Flipper's shoot hole anyways. BUT, i will not let you mislead fans on this board of the truth. 95% of you were saying not to trust ESPN analysts, and whatever other sources they looked at, but then, you go get clips on Kay jay, and make him look like some GOD that everyone forgot about. "Hell, he could challenge ronnie for the starting job". The only reason he could be the backup is because that is the lack of talent we had at the RB position to begin with, not that he is that good.

when it says he cant COD on the run, that is the exact truth. At least Ronnie can do that. That distinguishes a first rounder from a UFA.

The Woderlic is not a hard test. Well not hard if you have some intelligence. Testing at a score of under 20 takes effort almost.... I think you get 5 if you get your name right ;)
lol...then nevermind:lol:

the fact that he has to "decide" between here, NE, and Philadelphia tells me he probably wasn't on the best rapport with Nick (or is bitter that we didn't draft him). if he was, he would have come here no doubt.

but look at it this way: if 3 teams want you, and two of them went to the superbowl last year, one being the perennial superbowl champion, which team do you want to go to? take off the homer glasses for a second and be realistic here. I'd go towards the defending superbowl champs!

if there is a pause, i would guess he really isn't considering miami. because the only reason he WOULD come here is because of Saban... so that should be a shoe-in. its not, which means he probably won't.

He knows how good he is and that the most likely starting job could be here. I still think he signs with us.

wow.

so what happens in our backfield now? how freakin crowded will this be?

don't forget we spent a 3rd this year on Lamar Gordon too.

so we have:
1) ronnie brown
2) lamar gordon
3) travis minor
4) sammie morris
5) kay jay harris
6) Ricky Williams (assuming he returns).

heck, even 5 RBs on one roster is high.
who gets cut KB?

Ricky isnt coming back, that cuts one right there. Then Id cut Minor, he is only playing on a 1 yr contract any way.

The link doesn't say that he's choosing between Miami, Philly and NE. It's a message board poster that says those were the teams that contacted him prior to the draft. Doesn't mean they have offered him a position post-draft.

after reading the link i just came to the same conclusion you did.

so what is the real scoop then?

I really hope Kay-Jay doesn't get cut. He's too talented to do that with. If he weren't 26 and had gotten injured this year he'd be a much higher-rated talent than even his 3rd round grade. He is raw, but he will learn and has fresh legs even at 26. He's a guy who can definitely take the pressure off of Brown and he can catch and block...

Is Kay Jay the guy that put on that unreal run against Miami 2 years ago on Thursday night football when WVU almost took out Miami?

Ohhh, but if he is that great, he shouldnt be afraid of going to the "2nd worst' team in the NFL. he he has such awesome talent that can make a franchise be succesful, he should be heading to where he could start, not be a 3rd stringer riding pine. he sucks and is scared both. sounds like he is taking the easy way out to me.
