MERGED: Dustin Keller Injury Thread

Hope this is a lesson to all of you here, never wish injury or celebrate injury on anyone. Karma is real. I would think some of the older fans that saw Marino miss significant amount of games in the middle of his career with a bad ankle would have more class. I was like 5 years old when that happened and even then I understood what that means for us.
 
Anyone -- and I mean ANYONE -- who pretends that that was a legit hit on Keller simply doesn't know football.

Period.

One last thing if that had been one of our players making the hit And celebrating i would be just as hard on them calling cheap shot thugs! Dirty football is dirty football doesn't matter what logo is on your helmet!

well that's the danger of preseason, especially when you're playing your first's against their second's. Their second's are guys trying to win a roster spot and is trying to make any play at all on the field, how ever vicious it looks just to have a roster spot.

Are you suggesting that because a few fans might have been happy after Brady got a minor knee bruise that "karma" decided to punish Dustin Keller with a devastating knee injury?

Yup, you are 100% correct.....hopefully da Phinz can get some payback when we play them this year. That was a cheap thug shot, it's was dirty football, so abit of payback is fine by me....if ya know what I mean :-)

bad things happen to people who celebrate cruel things like that. in the end, these players are human beings, not robots. and lots were celebrating brady's injury here, now we lost a significant player and now you all know that there's a human part of this. never celebrate injury on anyone, sure you can say things like the division just got easier the opponent got easier, but if you need an injury to win then you're not very confident that our team is good enough to beat them at their best.

Are you suggesting Dustin Keller was celebrating the news that Brady possibly got hurt?

The Dolphins don't play the Texans this year.
 
I have been a fin fan for as long as i can remember, i by no means wanted anything to happen like this to keller or any other player on any team for that matter. I dont see the dirty play as some here do , the games is played fast and its a dangerous sport, **** happens, get up dust yourself off and get back at it, thats all i can say, whos gonna step up ?

I am concerned about the fact that we didn't get payback last night. Some are going to interpret that to mean that the Dolphins are soft.
