MERGED: First Depth Chart Released

i still hope we trade for rohan

Did you even read the thread title? That has nothing to do with this thread. Geez man.

It will be interesting to see where some of these players will be at. I am sure that Ricky is the #1 RB on the depth chart.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if AJ is tops on the depth chart. From all reports and seeing them with my own eyes Friday night, neither player is clearly better than the other and IMO, that should favor the incumbent.

The team has developed a relationship and trust with AJ Feeley and taking away his starting position without having him be decisively beaten out for the job could cause division which would lead to a true QB controversy.

It's Feeley's job to lose, and I don't think he has lost it yet.

i hope whoever gets the job WINS the job unlike when Wanny would hand it over to fiedler

FWIW todays starting 11 was as follows:

C-McKinney
OG-Whitley (Jeno on field but no practice)
OT-Carey
Defense
LDE-Carter
DT-Shaw
DT-Zgonina
RDE-Taylor
Sam-Spraghan
Mike-Thomas

I would bet my car that this isnt the #1 team depth chart. Saban has been mixing up the starters a lot, dont read anything into it.

Hadnot getting time at center. Who was the RG when that happened?? And was he seeing center time with the 1st team??

McKinney at RG
Yes, Hadnot was with 1st team. Look in the Smith injury thread.

Shaw at NT isn't surprising...Chester and Traylor are busy working their fat butts on the bicycle to try and get in shape. Zgonina starting at the other DT spot isn't surprising to me, I've been saying it for weeks (maybe months by now), but it could be surprising to some others around here...
