Ok...here goes.

First of all, anyone who says they don't care about hurricanes haven't been through one like Andrew...plain and simple, enough said.

Yes tornados are more catastrophic in smaller areas but what alot of those that say that don't realize is that hurricanes are often occompanied by MULTIPLE tornados touching down...especially in the Northeast quadrant of the storm which is generally the strongest.

Hurricanes suck...BIG TIME!!

Game could be cancelled

There is a good chance that the fins/bucs game wiil be cancelled. This looks like a major rainmaker with 15-20 inches of rain possible. I hope not because i have great tickets and im realy looking forward to the game. Go fins

its going to be in the gulf on saturday. I'm sure they'll figure out a way to keep the field watertight

Yeah last year sucked. Had to play all the early games at weird times and days. It royally screwed us folks with Directv as well since we missed the opener live and the Steelers game had to be pushed around to a night game as well.

Looks like we are going to get NAILED by tropical storm Katrina. Ft. Lauderdale city manager just got out of a meeting and they may cancell school for thurs and friday. Expect cat 1 storm by landfall on friday AM. Dumping 8-12 inches before. This is not a major storm but enough to put a damper on the wekkend and if it lingers possibly delay the game.

To all my florida brethren, lets batten down the hatches and stay safe, and hope that its much ado about nothing.

To the fin fans lets hope this is not a pre-cursor to this seasons success
