It depends on the consistency, if the guy consistently doesn't get it done, you have to change quarterbacks.
The best QB's throw a pic now and then, but they don't throw more interceptions than touchdowns.....as Chad has done. That is where he has to improve, he has to make the plays that win games, not lose them.
Did you not see the stats posted? Favre went 19/24 in '92.
My point is precisely that he's going to get 3 INT games in a more aggresive scheme. It's natural in QB development. And how our coaching staff reacts will dictate the future of the offense: cautious will get you right back into run-first. Confident will bear those games out.
I do agree it's up to Henne to reward their trust in the long term. And it's a make or break season for him. I wouldn't even focus on the TD-INT ratio, but the overall statistics. And we'll probably have to wait at least until midseason to find out.
