I actually am shocked, I didn't think Ross had it in him to fire Ireland.
If this is true my bet is it will be Aponte..and I would not be surprised to see Gaine leave if he is presented another opportunity.
Gaine should be fired. all the scouts should be fired. This team sucks at scouting. Every scout who had part in the decision to select Dion Jordan, which is all of them, should be fired, anyone who worked with Ireland at any time in the last 6 years should be fired.

I don't know that he does, it sounds like he just made the job unpalatable for Ireland and he left the team. I am glad he is gone and wish him luck on Another team not named the Dolphins or Giants. This is only the first step though now Ross must hire someone who can right this operation and make us contenders again

Not sure this is such a good idea. Do we really want the new GM to be someone who learned and worked under Ireland? Probably not.

Ross has the propensity To go after big names. I think it will be a known commodity other than someone currently on staff.
