It would be a good pick up. I always liked him as a RB.

Clayton is easily one of the worse. He's not as bad as JLC but he is still one of the worst in the biz

Good. Get rid of Thomas, gilleslee and Thigpen. Sign Moreno and Hester and draft a power back. Problem solved

It still amazes how people on here over value or over rate the draft. I mean you would think some people would learn. When is the last time we drafted a good RB? Ronnie Brown had one decent year, not sure if that counts him as "good". for being the 2nd overall pick he was big time disappointment. Anyways, Miller isn't any good, Daniel Thomas blows, and Gillislee sucks. You still want to waste more draft picks on RB's? I know it sounds good in theory because its cheapper but come on guys why do you want to keep trying that? Or we can sign a FA running back/trade, like we did with Reggie Bush and Ricky Williams.

This isn't even about Knowshon Moreno. I think He's better than what we have now. I just want to know why so many people want to continue to draft a RB? We have tried this many times throughout history and especially as of recently and how has that worked out? and yet people still refuse to sign or trade for a RB. Cant wait to draft another Daniel Thomas!
 
Delete this. The report is erroneous. I can't confirm that a deal is close or even being discussed. Something was reported on ESPN and then relayed to me. I didn't hear it on ESPN myself but others did and they have informed that a deal is NOT close and can't confirm that one is even being discussed. I should watch ESPN more but this is the reason I don't.

You keep Thigpen over Gillislee. Gilleslee offers nothing. At least Thigpen makes you think he'll do something before he does nothing

Being in a pass happy, very good offense with a Hall of Famer helps a back big time. That being said, Moreno > LM and DT.
 
Oakland will land him. We need to land someone like Tre Mason or a Marshawn Lynch type runner. When will the phins learn what it takes to have a running game. Look what Green Bay did last year. They know what they are doing.

I dont understand an upgrade is an upgrade. Some don't want Moreno because they say he sucks but he looked pretty good last year so whats the problem? If it is just the fact they aren't signing the person you want then you need to go play in traffic. If the guy can help us win who the hell cares who it is bring him in that's what good teams do.
 
I merged the two threads and changed the title. This is nothing more than John Clayton mentioning Miami as a possible destination for Moreno. There is no talk that a deal is near or anything like that.

So you're saying we should draft a RB??? Hmmmm why haven't we done that before???? oh wait we have, drafted three in the last three years and how did that work out? Reggie Bush was great for us and so was Ricky Williams, better than any RB we have drafted in the last 20 years
