MERGED: John Clayton mentions Miami as possible destination for Knowshon Moreno

Moreno is a bum, Peytons arrival made him tow the line. He did nothing in Denver prior to Peyton getting to denver. NO.

ESPN just reported that John Clayton dose not have a clue

We need a solid vet and a young banger...you can fill in the names be it Blount, MJD, Moreno and Hyde, Mason, whatever.

Some of you don't know what the hell your talking about. Moreno had 845 ATT, 3,468 RUSHING 26 TOUCHDOWNS AVG 4.1 YARDS PER CARRY
Who do we have that put up those number since Ricky Williams / Ronnie Brown?????? 4.1 per carry?????? But he is garbage so many of you say
Ronnie brown been in the NFL 5 years longer and only have 12 more touchdowns.
My 1st choice is Blount but by all means don't call Moreno garbage.... he is a good back

I dont understand an upgrade is an upgrade. Some don't want Moreno because they say he sucks but he looked pretty good last year so whats the problem? If it is just the fact they aren't signing the person you want then you need to go play in traffic. If the guy can help us win who the hell cares who it is bring him in that's what good teams do.

Im not sure if you could understand my rant. I am on board for signing Moreno, or any RB really. I just don't want to waste another draft pick on a sorry RB like we have in the last 3 years, and numerous times throughout history

I'm completely with you I want an upgrade as well and I think Moreno would work. I don't understand why people just want to say he sucks when that's not the case.

I watched Moreno for 3 yrs at Georgia dominate against top competition. He then gets drafted early and gets a great payday. Slacks off but then regains credibility. I still see him as an elusive back that can hurdle defenders. I will take him.

Tooslow Moreno is a bum. His stats are hollow. Dude ran against more 5 and 6 man fronts than any other RB n the NFL. In the SB the Seahawks picked him up off his feet like a child and he coughs up the ball from fear.

If his stats are so great why hasn't Denver even gave him a lowball offer?

Some people just talk and assume and don't really know jack. Moreno is a good back. and clear upgrade. I would be surprised if he is not the starter to be honest.

Just get this man off Denver!

I'd also welcome him in Miami, if the FO thinks he is a legit plus pass blocker. Cut/trade Thomas and rid ourselves of that mistake. How many times watching DT, and subsequently RT, get trucked by a LB is enough? Moreno might not be Adrian Peterson, but he is light years better than DT, and fits the same physical build/role. Keep Miller as a featured backup, but draft someone like Sankey to put heat on him. If i had any confidence in Miller as an above average receiver out of the backfield, i'd be inclined to lean towards Blount in free agency, but i dont. Despite his elite speed, something about watching Miller makes me think he'll be an average receiver at best (note: i hope he does great, i always want all our players to succeed, so dont slam me, just my impression). Moreno peels off blocks and runs the screen very well. I think he'd be a weapon in our offense.

Because they have to many backs and not enough money to fix their defense. Hello did you see the FA signings they got and the monry they spent. Its all or nothing for them this year. That's why

It's a totally false rumor. Some pimple faced kid in his parents basement made it up and came clean on twitter moments ago. Moreno to Miami was totally made up.
