I have driven tipsy at times and regret it. However, I learn from my mistakes. Get over yourself. They made mistakes, it's not unforgiveable.
learned from YOUR mistakes did you? thats wonderful.
but you COMPLETELY missed the o/p's point, josh gordon HASNT learned. it keeps happening.
and as far as your statement about "it's not unforgivable", well, who said it wasnt? the o/p didnt. so, who's on a "high horse"?
how long until this drunk kills someone? then is he a "bad guy" you wouldnt want on the team? this isnt a one time thing, not close!
and what do YOU consider driving "tipsy"? what was josh's number that he blew? .01? .07? 1.6?
all this poor guy said was he is glad we didnt invest in him seeing how he already was facing a year suspension and then goes out and does it again!!
and he gets blistered by you. who needs to get over themselves?
i hope they throw the book at his arse because this is the type of guy who WILL kill someone driving drunk. his only hope is to give him some REAL jail time to think about himself and have court mandated treatment while he is inside. what if that family or person he eventually may kill is YOUR relative? it's going to be someones. it's time to get him off the road before someone gets that midnight knock on the door from the highway patrol.
and count me as another who is GLAD we didnt sign him.
