• The timetable of the meeting becomes as important as Joe Philbin's meeting with Peyton Manning. They'll meet by 2 p.m. on Tuesday somewhere off the Dolphins' campus. With free agency starting at 4 p.m., the hope would be the Dolphins have some idea of how Manning is leaning. Cleveland and Seattle probably will give Matt Flynn their best offers at the very start of free agency. While Flynn probably won't sign until all offers are in, he might get blown away by one and jump on it.

What exactly did DEN and ARZ get over us if Manning sits down with Philbin and Sherman? He knows our facility, why does he need to know what the new color is for the bathroom?

He spent the far majority of his time in ARZ and DEN talking football with the football ppl. Do you honestly think someone like Manning gives a crap about which player shows up to visit him or where the parking lot is located??

FYI he did those things to apply leverage on the Phins, nothing more. Hopefully the Dolphins won't fold and give him every damn thing he wants. I want Manning, but there has to be limits IMO.

U.dont think meeting the owner and GM is important?
