People assume we didn't want him at that price or something, because if we just failed to get him that would not be good. And if we were not good then there would be more realists, wouldn't want that. Miami ownership has been doing it wrong for a long long time now.

So, our options are now - Alex Smith, Matt Moore, David Garrard or a rookie. I pray to Christ that we draft a true #1 WR or we could be in for another long year.

I think we are all assuming an awful lot around here. "If Philbin really wanted him, we would have signed him". Considering we don't know if Philbin has any say in who we sign or not, that's a big assumption. If we didn't want him, then why did we make any offer for him? Oh, he would have been a franchise QB if we got him cheap? There's also no way we are getting Smith. He already turned down an offer for more money that Flynn got, so do we really think he'll come here for less ?

So no Manning, no Flynn, no Smith . . . . oh yeah, that means we'll draft our franchise QB in the first round this year. So what's it going to be when we don't? Oh, M. Moore. Yeah, good enough to be another .500 team. Great.

Everyone needs to calm down. If you thought Matt Flynn was a franchise qb you are kidding yourself. The fact that Philbin didnt want him is all you need to know. Flynn would of set us back even more then we all ready are

We are one of the worst teams in the league in terms of competency...

The rest of the league looks at us as a bunch of clowns.
 
This is not whether philbin wanted him or not. This is all Ireland. Philbin can only say of he is good or not. If Ireland is going to lowball everyone we will never sign anyone. We are in a terrible spot now. Can't draft a qb at 8 so we will need to trade up. This is getting pathetic. I hope they have a great plan and it works cause I am tired of 8 and 8 football.
 
Flynn sucks guys, go watch tape of him and than go watch moore. moore is much better than him and it is very easy to see..
 
OH NO! WE SUCK AGAIN!

Honestly, if we won't match 3 years $26M for a franchise quarterback when our owner is flapping his jaw about wanting to put arses in the seats, then we honestly are the biggest jokes in the league.

Flynn even publicly stated he WANTED to visit the Dolphins and give us a chance before he made any decision. He was loyal to his word and we still low balled him.

And we WONDER why Marino has to BEG Manning to just speak to us. If anyone on this board believes we are being snubbed unfairly, you're dreaming. We deserve all of the treatment we get.

Someone earlier said we were like the new Detroit. I wouldn't give us that much credit. We're the new Oakland.

Low balling when we're lucky to even be graced with visits. REALLY?!
