I'm so sorry man. Good luck with everything. God be with you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this tough time. :)

I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Hey Danny

Man I know the feeling I lost my dad this past June 8th, he was my best friend in the entire world.

We didnt get much time with him (he found out he had stage 4lung cancer and 2 weeks later he died) but I spent every day with him at hospice and treasure each minute I had.

I was away from here for awhile and thought about posting but thought no one would wanna know bout stuff like that,,, but I know your pain and say hang tough.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My mother died of breast cancer when I was 14, so I know what it's like to lose a parent. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about your loss. The fact that your father lived to 90 is an accomplishment in itself. Which must make it even tougher to lose him. Just remember he's in a better place right now and you will see him again someday.

Just remember you didn't lose him, he's still with you everyday in your heart as it looks like he's passed on his good teachings to you.

I haven't been able to post much lately as my dad had been sick for a few months. We almost lost him 2 months ago and again 2 weeks ago.Last nite he left us and he died in my mom's arms.We knew the end was coming but is still so hard.I take some comfort that he's not in pain now.He lived his life the way he wanted to and he'd had been 90 in 2 weeks. My dad was the first person that ever talked to me about football and soccer too for that matter. He was born in Italy but grew up in NY...went to WW2 and got 2 bronze medals with the US army and then later was in the airforce....he was my hero.I still remember asking him when I was a kid who was the QB for the Dolphins and he said"Bob Greese"....I've been a dolphins fan ever since......he wasn't a fan of any particular team but he loved football. He thaught me how to be a good fan win or lose...he always told me not to be on time but rather.."be early"...he thaught me to be responsible for work(I've missed one day of work in the last 6 years(other than the few times this year when I had to be with him)...I'm glad and greatfull that he was and always will be my dad.I guess this is my little tribute to him. Thanks dad was everything you did for me and the good memories.I will always love you.Your son, Danny!!

my dad rules!!!!

Sorry for your loss man...

They took my dad to hospice on sunday and we spend the day with him.On monday I went to see him but he was asleep. My mom told me to go home as it was his wish for me not to see him dead.I got the call around 10pm and I went to get my mom.My only advice to everyone is to tell their parents how much you love them as often as you can.If you have a fall out with them, you have to make up cos in the end, your family's what relly counts.Once again, thanks for the support of everyone, Danny.

don't know you or your dad but it sounds like he was a great man and I am sorry for your loss.

Prayers to you and your family.
