MERGED: Phins worked out WR Legedu Naanee today

Geez you guys really seem to have a low perception of Hartline..
I thought the same thing. Hartline is actually a very good receiver. I think could see him putting up similar numbers as Jordy Nelson if he was in Green Bay. He Is a smart player, runs good routes, good size, deceptive speed, good hands and makes tough catches. But no one here seems to give him enough credit.

what, you don't remember 1 of those 70yd td bombs from a couple season's ago in San Diego? i do... i was sitting right where they were thrown... VJax had the other... if memory serves, Naanee ran our db's ragged that Sunday... just sayin

Some of you clearly haven't seen him play. He's terrible. Quite possibly the worst starting wideout in the league last year

well he's probably better than Hartline....though that isn't saying much.

He's not and Hartline isn't nearly as bad as some of you try to portray him

Can he throw?

He sucks!

Who?

That's nice, when are we going to sign starters?

Fire Ireland!

Camp fodder!

What a bunch of clowns in the front office!

Just another "acorn".

Did I get them all?

You forgot: "OmGz! Not another cornfed linemen from Dallas?!?! I'm shocked!!!" :chuckle:

First of all, I don't think he's coming in to be a starter.
Second, he may be terrible, he may had an off-year - How about letting him compete for a job (not a starting role but a role)
Third, Do you watch Chargers games every Sunday to make that conclusion that he's terrible???

He started for the Panthers last year! The chargers was the year before

Ehh, nothing of great significance with him. Decent special teams player and he provides some good depth at receiver.

I think you forgot:

It's the fans' fault!

Horrible fans!

And you all wanted Orton too!

Whiny fans!

Let it play out!

We were 6-0 in games we won!
These quotes, some which were never said, have nothing to do with a free agent visit. Fail.

When SD went 3 wide w/ a TE, he always ran the seam opposite Gates. And he did quite well. People here need to grow up and actually know what the hell they are talking about. Alot of typical Ganggreen BS here lately.

No but I watched a lot of Panthers games last year, you know, the team he played for. I've also watched quite a bit of Chargers games in the past so yes, i've watched enough of him to feel very confident saying that he's a well below average reciever.

More importantly than your poor attempt to call me out, my initial post was to those who said he would be an upgrade to Hartline. That just isn't/wouldn't be the case
