MERGED: Phins worked out WR Legedu Naanee today

No but I watched a lot of Panthers games last year, you know, the team he played for. I've also watched quite a bit of Chargers games in the past so yes, i've watched enough of him to feel very confident saying that he's a well below average reciever.

And yet he was quite productive as a 3rd WR. Going into 2010 his 4th year, he had a career year in avg per reception at 16.1. He then went to Carolina and a new system and new QB and had a career yr in receptions. As a 6th year player, he is starting to come into his own. Is he elite? No. Is he below avg like Ted Ginnger, not even close.

Remind me again when he was productive as a 3rd reciever? Last year was by far his most productive season and that was spent mostly as a starter until he lost the job to Brandon Lafell.... Also a very WR needy team

What does Ted Ginn have to do with anything?

These quotes, some which were never said, have nothing to do with a free agent visit. Fail.

All of them have been said at one point or another. Sorry, I thought this had become a "whine about other fans" thread and was just following the threadjacking. Win!

skilled route runner...very good hands.....decent speed.

should fit in nicely in a WC offense IMHO

Seeing as SD likes to run alot of 2 TE sets and the main weapons were Gates and VJAX, he did quite well. Especially in his 4 year there. He then again went to a NEW team, NEW system, NEW rookie QB..and had his best season.

As for the Ginnger comment. You said Naanee is below avg. I contend below avg WR's come in the body of Ted Ginnger and the like. Naanee isn't ELITE, but he can be productive.

Well I think we will sign this guy and continue along the offseason theme of not signing a guy that started all season for his team.
Naanee IMO opinion is a waste of a roster space for us. If we sign him that speaks volumes about Gates, and the group of scrubs eveyone hypes every year.
Hartline is much better than this guy. In three years he has more catches than this Panther reject. Let me see the Panthers need receivers bad but they could care less about keeping this guy.
There have been much better veterans out there that could make us a better team, in fact I would rather draft two rookies than play this scrub.

The fail is a Finheaven admin calling out the members on Finheaven randomly when no one has even mentioned anything you said other than "Who", which is a legitimate question.

And by the way, Ireland did ask Legedu if his mom was a prostitute and Legedu politely said he doesn't know.

It was joke, those are the typical responses to any news of a player visiting. I was just getting them all in before others did. Come on dude, have a sense of humor. No reason for the attacks. Thanks.

lol at some of you guys on here.what would i do without finheaven madness

Never heard of him, and probably never will again...

You're making excuses why he wasn't productive in S.D. and why he got benched in Carolina. He's awful. Plain and simple. Watch him actually play a football game and you'll stop making excuses

I liked him. Lets sign him cheep and if he doesnt make the team then oh well no love lost. I say sign as many guys to fight it out and the best WR's stay. Simple as that.
