Watch yourself now. Your starting to get obsessed with RGM like that one dude is with Bess.
 
I hope he does make the team we could start running some 4 wr and 5 wr sets then really start capitalizing on all the talent we have on our offense.
 
Put Him, Bess, Marshall, Fasano and Cobbs on the field together and create our own West Coast Offense package. Lets call it the new East Coast Package.

Im obsessed with Bess too. Look when you watch guys in college and they come to your favorite pro team, that satisfaction is incredible. I used to stay up till 4 am watching Hawaii games and I was always amazed by both him and Bess. So to see them both in my favorite pro team is just awesome.
 
Even Coach Sparano can't shut up about Ryan Grice-Mullen

(On what he likes about Ryan Grice-Mullen in comparison to Davone Bess) – “I think they’re two different players, I really do. I think they remind me a little bit of each other in the fact that—it must have been a heck of a 7 on 7 period down there in Hawaii when you’re throwing the ball around and these two guys are moving all over the place. They’re both really quick twitch guys that way, and they’re quicker probably then they are fast. That’s the thing that they have in common. Of course, Davone is built a little lower to the ground and Grice is a little taller than Davone I would say. Both of them have good ball skills. But, just a little bit different players I think in what they do for the football team. The thing that they have in common is that they both have return abilities and some of those skills. So, that was something that interests us with Grice as well.”

(On if there’s a difference between the skills needed for returning the football in the CFL versus the NFL) – “I would say so, yes. The field size and all of those kinds of things make it a little bit different. Also, certainly speed coming down the field and any of those types of things. So, I would think that having the ability to judge the ball as the returner and not having to go through that process—He has shown me so far, and not just here in the last couple of days, he has shown me good ability to judge the football back there which is a major hurdle with any returner is to get by that type of deal. So, I feel like he’s going to be a pretty good decision maker.”

(On his thoughts on trading Ted Ginn) – “I think Jeff answered that question a while ago. I think what went into that was just that we signed Brandon Marshall and both players played the same position. So, to be honest and fairness to Ted at that point, it was better that we move on. Then there was some value out there on top of that which gave us the ability to have a safety on the field today, so, I think that those types of things are reasons why we didn’t move with him.”

(On how getting Brandon Marshall will create opportunities in the return game) – “It does. It creates opportunities in the return game…but obviously when you do something like that, you think about all of the pros and the cons. As you guys you know, the thing to me is that you have to bring a player to the game with a real clear vision about what the number of plays they can potentially play. Although the return thing is very important, I want to have a guy that can do a few different things out there. There is going to be an opportunity for Grice-Millen and several others that will be us here as we get on.”

This is the last video for now, lol. I want you guys to notice # 13 in KR/PR duties and you will automatically see why the kid has a chance here in Miami. The kid is not afraid of contact and instead of looking for the sidelines he is running behind his blockers waiting for that hole to break free.
 
I like this kid, can see lots of possibilities to get him on the field.

Picture this:

A Package of Marshall,Bess,RGM,Heartline.
Fasano either a 6th blocker or 5th Reciever.

Hmmm, we can do some damage with this package. 2 minute drill package?

Everybody take a deep breath. Now I am not hatin'. I think RGM brings some things to the table that the Dolphins need. The question is, is he bringing a feast or a package of Twinkies from the vending machine? I am concerned that in two years in Canada in a pass happy league he put up VERY mediocre stats. Ricky had injury issues and to deal with a pass centered league when he played up north. But how can a NFL quality receiver not just tear it up in Canada? He had a shot in the NFL and didn't stick. Maybe (like Wake) he has learned and matured and has elevated his game to be able to make plays against a NFL quality defense. Let's see how this kid looks WITH PADS ON and not just in shorts before we anoint him the heir apparent to the return and speed receiver roles.

Don't be surprised if on day 1 it's Patrick Cobbs returning kicks. That's one dude (like Camarillo) I don't bet against. Every time we have thought they would be replaced they make the team through hard work and sheer willpower.

Look RGM came out to early. I believe he had just turned 20 years old and he was raw. While he did not tear it up receiving in Canada, he stood out in KR/PR duties. The kid has talent and he is only 23 years old, RGM is a perfect example of a guy coming out to early, but flourishing through hard work.
 
WR Ryan Grice-Mullen (5-10 3/8, 189): Ran the 40 in 4.36, had a 31 ½-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 2-inch long jump, ran position workout, kept everything else from the combine.

I hope you're right. I want all of our picks/signees to be studs on the field. I want all of our players to be so good that other teams fight over those we cut because they're better than people on their team. I have just seen too many guys (especially speed guys) light it up in minicamps and then disappear when the pads come on.

These are rookies not puppies. Don't get too attached to any of them because most of them will be in a box labelled "free to good home" before you know it. That's just life in the NFL. There are only 53 Dolphin spots plus PS and most of those are pencilled in already.
