Does Ross ditch Ireland or weather the storm?

This will give a answer right off the bat of how credible Philbin and his new staff actually are.....

If they go after Tebow we're screwed again for another 3-4 years because Ross will need that long to figure it out. And Philbin exposed as incompetent....He shouldn't put up with it....

Wow. Bet you Smith is on a plane back to SF as we are writing this. Tebow will be released or traded for a lower round pick. Elway will say we need our cap money and love tebow but want to let him go and give Teboew the greatest chance to succeed. Denver fans will say what a nice guy Elway is.

Then Moore's agent will call the dolphins office and say I want a FLYNN like 3 year contract extension for Moore or trade me or I will hold out.

We have a journeyman QB for the next 3 years and maybe a good rookie will get drafted who knows cause Cleveland wants to draft a QB too and so does KC and Seattle may still draft a QB regardless of Flynn sigining.

I dont know about you all but this in my opnion could be the biggest mess ever as we sit here with a Super Defense, a Super Bowl coach but no super bowl QB or WRs or TE or RT or ....
 
Not so much on who he has missed on, more on who he didn't draft. Too many picks at non-positions of need and too few hits on needed positions, primarily at qb and wr. He did trade for a te and number one receiver, but is Fasano the answer? We know where Marshall is. Name another number one he drafted. He hasn't even been perfect in drafting the big uglies. Merling? Jerry? He hit on Langford, and the jury is still out on Odrick. Where are the linebackers? He hit on Davis and Smith, but that is debatable. I like the kid from Montana, but Carroll? Long and Pouncey look good. Anyone seen Henne or White? Where is that wr from USC that was supposed to be our number 1 receiver. Where are the tight ends? He really hasn't hit on many. So to answer your question, he hasn't hit on many and he has missed on more, and he has neglected drafting need positions at wr, linebacker/pass rusher, and qb. I didn't even mention his misses at safety.

If Ross fires Ireland would that satisfy fans? Who might replace him?

Stephen Ross must be starting to feel the heat. Do you think he'll stick with Ireland? Would it be disastrous to fire him before the draft? Does Ross have another football minded person he could replace Ireland with that would take the job? Would fans be content if Ross stays owner and Ireland is ditched?

What do you guys think? Ireland a goner or will he make it to see this year through?
 
Not sure why he kept him around this year. Maybe he's a "YES" man.
 
He wont fire Ross right before the draft. He wont even fire him before the season, would really make him look dumb when he just finished spending the off season defending him and passing on people in favor of Ireland.

They can help repair their images a few different ways, but they are playing with fire and running out of options.
 
Philbin will replace him. Bring Marino in for a role like Elways that can make final approvals but Philbin will work with Marino on who to get.

We need to get this francise back to respectability and Marino will put a good face on it. Give him power and he will come. I am sure Marino would love a Green Bay offense in Miami.
 
Ross is more likely to reward Ireland with a raise and a contract extension. No way will he be sacked
