I thought we went through this last year, and it didn't work. Saban needs to chose a QB (as tough as it may be) and let him have the reps with the first team O.
I agree, but what choice does he have? It is diff in that Saban doesnt actually have an agenda, he wants a qb to run with it. Personally I think he felt the ideal would be for Gus to come in and start and then develop AJ. AJ has looked better, but it has been against second team, so while Saban is pleased with his progress, it doesnt necessarily mean he thinks AJ is ready to do that against 1st team. I really think Saban felt that AJ needed more time to get comfortable and confident. Gus just hasnt siezed the opportunity.
