Matt Eberfles (Bears)
Nathaniel Hackett (Broncos)
Josh McDaniels (previously a head coach.....fired not even two years into his term)
Mike McDaniels
Doug Pederson (the only successful previously hired former coach)

Very little hiring of coaches with previous head coaching experience and yes -- Pederson has a title --but the two coaches hired were 53-56-1 in the previous tenures.

The same people that don't like the hire would find a way to criticize who we signed unless we got the one guy that they preferred.

If you were reading any of the posts on the many threads on the coaching search, you'd have seen me saying Harbaugh or Pederson were my choices and that anyone else is a failure. If I wasnt a Dolphins fan, why would I be this upset?

If you read my many posts during the search for a new head coach. You would see that my first choices were Harbaugh, Pederson, and Caldwell.

I didn’t even know who McDaniel was when his name was first mentioned as a possible candidate for the job.

Yet even though I hadn’t heard of him and my preference was one of the experienced former head coaches, I am not going to hold it against him because he was hired for the position.

I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt and hope for the best. Because he is now the HC of the team I root for and it’s ridiculous for anyone to assume right now that he won’t be a good HC.

Maybe he will turn out to be a terrible HC but maybe he will turn out to be the best HC since Shula. I see no reason to be upset with this hire, even if they didn’t hire one of the coaches I wanted in the beginning.

Yet I have learned during my time on this forum that some posters just love to complain, no matter what is happening with the team.

If getting upset and constantly venting on here allows you to deal better with life, who am I to complain? So go right ahead and complain all you want. I will just ignore your complaints from now on.

Not a surprise since their is nobody left out there. Hope this guy knows what he is getting into. Josh Allen 2 times a year and the AFC conference is a real bitch. Hope he’s the one that can get this team back to greatness.

Buffalo is legit, though they lost Daboll, but the Pats are in decline, propped up by FA spending, their core is old and Jones is no Brady and just lost their longtime OC, Bellichek just looking for that record now and is 70, the Jets are the Jets. I mean I can name a few other divisions tougher than this.
