Mike Freeman: Philbin has to be fired

I wish the media would start to point the finger at Martin and ask some questions about him. Maybe he is the one who is really is F****D UP!

OL Coach Jim Turner should be fired it's his unit that underperformed all year long

Calling for a mans job or livelihood when you don't know all the details and are merely speculating over two extremes, that he covered it up or was completely clueless. Really? I can't think of more irresponsible writing. There's a reason Bleacher Report is considered a amateur site.

Shiano would have known about this! He's got his fingers in every single thing the Bucs do.

We need a dictatorial coach like him. Maybe Saban will come back?

At least he was smart enough to rig the captain election to keep his lazy QB from getting it.....as a coach you have to know what you want as a leader and what skills you want this leader to show on and off the field......Cog's is the dolphin leader (voted by players) and everyone is scared of him.....

Anybody who thinks Philbin should be fired over this is a retard. What about Belicheck? He had a murderer in his locker room...what about Tomlin? His QB's a rapist. What about Harbaugh? Aldon Smith could've killed someone driving drunk.

This is SOOOO ****ing stupid
Mr. WesternNYDolphan, you are CONVENIENTLY leaving out one TINY DETAIL. Those Coaches have a few SUPER BOWLS on their resume. Jim Harbaugh has won 2 Division Titles in 2 seasons which also includes 1 Super Bowl appearance. That gives them a little more wiggle room. Wouldn't you say?

No, Paterno was a legend and look at what happened there. No wiggle.

Still, Philbin is fine and at this point of this info will be staying.

Joe does not survive this. Too much of a firestorm.

Too bad because I do not think he would want anything bad to happen to Martin, but just wanted him to be a better player.

Martin in turn took a radical approach to stop the bullying leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.
The shame of it all is that all he had to do was cut Martin if he did not feel Martin was the kind of player he can win with.

Fire Belichick....he didn't know Hernandez was a mass murderer. He should know every action a player does at all times.

Smh- just fn dumb.

There is a difference between knowing what is going in the locker room and sombeody's house. Be glad you were never a leader in the Army. If you were you better know what your soldiers do all the time. Philbin is too passive a leader thats why **** gets out of control.

Well it's the NFL and not the army. Owning every step of somebody's life in the army saves the lives of soldiers.

Again, as its been clearly established up to now, nothing that happened in the locker room is out of the ordinary. The voicemail, which is without context, was something Philbin had zero way to find out about unless Martin brought it to him then.

Bellicheat and the Pats knew the thug they were drafting and knew he would be by his thug friends. They knew of his previous, we'll call them issues. What the Pats did was worse.
