We could have signed jennings.

Stop me if you've heard this one:
Rick Spielman and Jeff Ireland walk into a bidding war...
Wallace's cap number next year is $17,250,000. His remaining signing bonus due will be $8,800,000. So if we cut him we will have a cap savings of $8,450,000. Do the cut after June 1 and I think we can spread that out over 2 years. If he is on the roster the 5th league day of 2014 though, $3 million is guaranteed to him from his 2015 season salary. So his guaranteed money from Miami goes up to $30 million.
We'd get a cap surplus next year and those following by cutting him after this year, but they'll still be paying him $15 million of his next year's salary that is guaranteed to him, for not being on the squad. That's a tough pill to swallow when the guy can also go get a job elsewhere and collect two 2014 paychecks.
My guess is he's here at least one more year for sure.
Seems Brandon Marshall's style of play fits Tannehill better than Wallace's does.
we payed $60 million dollars for a poor mans ted ginn...unbelievable
