Miko Grimes Interview (Talks about player's confidence in coaches / Tannehill)

The Tannehill zombies are being hit with that sobering reality right now. The guys who share a lockeroom with him don't believe in him....why the hell should we?
And look who believes every word she said because it fits your agenda.

i dont know what she said but she needs to stop talking

You'd think Brent could do better than this.

Earlier in the season, when players complained that Lazor was 'too demanding,' did we take their grumblings at face value?

Dude spare me. There is no agenda. Give me a break and stop reaching. It's merely calling it like I see it.

Trust me, I'd LOVE to be wrong on this. But I can only go by the results. And they are the bottom line as far I am concerned.

So, as you see it, this team is STACKED with 'great' offensive talent (Miko's words, not mine), and has a GREAT coaching staff, and it's all being held back by Ryan Tannehill?

How come the Bills D never quits even when the offense is stinking it up?

The Bills are 1-3 this year when they score 1 TD. Not much different then us.

The greatest defense in the league isn't going to win consistently without scoring from its offense.

To me NFL Football is Race to see who scores 3 TD's first. Whoever does that wins a very high percentage of games.

Until our offense can consistently score 3 TD's per game it won't matter what defense we have.

Spare you trying to be objective when you take the word of an attention hog like her as gospel.

Here's the other thing that is odd to me here:

Didn't the players spend the about half of the season privately grumbling about the coaching staff? First there were the complaints about the gameplan for the KC game (defensively)). Then there were the complaints about Lazor being too demanding. Then there were the complaints about the defensive play-calling at the end of the Green Bay game. Brian Hartline making passive aggressive comments and retweets on social media about how many times he was being targeted. That's just off the top of my head.

Yet according to Miko, the players LOVE the coaching staff? Please. Sounds to me like some people are going into CYA mode and know that the QB is the one guy who isn't going anywhere and can safely get thrown under the bus right now.

She's a cheerleader for the team and it's understandable. Her husband is on the team so she'll never be 100% honest.

I believe the Dolphins have a sufficient enough talent base at the skill posistions to where great play at the quarterback posistion would earn this team a playoff birth.

And this team has its deficiencies in other areas, there's no question about it. But that doesn't excuse Tannehill from coming up lame down the stretch. He gives the team no margin for error, and I don't think that's good enough. But that's just me.

I just think these comments reek of BS. I'm sure there are people on the team who don't like the QB. But that they LOVE the coaches? Come on. Remember last season when the players openly mutinied on Mike Sherman and the offensive staff?

Suddenly they love Philbin and crew after EVERYTHING that they have grumbled about to writers over the past 2 years? Don't buy it.

I don't either. She's said other things like our WRs are great and the LBs aren't the problem. Mind you she said it when Ellerbe and Wheeler were still starting. You can't take much of what she says seriously.
