Yeah that's bull ****. People were saying we had around that before Marshall was traded. I don't believe it.

We did have that but then we tendered about 4 players and that dropped us below $10 million in cap space.

Flynn has no one going after him right now. So I think we could sign him for backup money for 2 or 3 years. Winston would be nice because god knows we are going to have to run the ball next year at this pace. A guy like Joe Adams in the third if he's there would be a nice pick up.

If the free agents come cheaper then great! I was just speculating but I thought Flynn was gonna get kolb money?

I think teams saw what happened to Arizona last year with the Kolb contract and are proceeding with caution in regards to Flynn. They don't want to invest that type of money in a player who may not be the long term solution to their quarterback need.

Doesn't Long have an opt-out in the final year of his contract? The smarter play might extending Long and getting him locked up.
