Mock draft - Trades and evaluations (took a lot of time :)

Not happening......it would cost us our 1st & 2nd round pick to go from 19 to 8.

Two years in a row burning a 2nd rounder to move up....no.

For Jake Matthews I would definately do.

CK stated there have been rumours if he falls to #8 of trade talks. Nobody knows what Hickey is thinking and I not been the first to predict trade up. Who expected a trade up for a injured 3-4 OLB last year?

Good job on the mock draft. But I would personally be furious if we traded up and lost picks in such a deep draft for a OT.

Nice Job Normanii. I don't want us to trade up but I understand the move which in Mocking trades is the most important. I'd rather stay at 19 and take what we can as BPA there or trade back hopefully grab another 2nd and get XSF or Lee at say 26 or 27 with a trade back with Saints or Niners. That would be ideal.

Thanks Norman. Well done, and appreciate the time and effort you put into this.

No idea why you have a one star but, will do my part to try to correct it. Chances are that those ripping this thread know nothing, and like wasting their time to say they have nothing to say. LOL

Thank you mate and appreciate it :)

I agree with you though. Most have slated me for mocking the Dolphins trading up, but I was listening to CK on a podcast stating that the fins n Vikings are in talks if Matthews falls that far. When doing the mock I didn't expect it, but ive read rumours the Vikings want a LB, want to trade down etc and it all ties in if JM does fall.

The choosing of Evans over Watkins was purely for St Louis. You build your roster to compete against your division rivals. With Seattle playing so much press and San Fran & Arizona quite similar, Evans thrives against that.

Eric Ebron top 5? That's too high for him. He's probably going mid teens

I had posted Minny as a potential trading partner for Miami to move up for a Matthews, and believe it is a possibility depending how the draft shakes out. I can also see Evans over Watkins for the Rams for the reasons you mention.

IF you had mentioned CK, who is highly thought of here or, had a "Missing Link," your thread would have been much better received. There is no rhyme nor reason for why but, some here believe it is who has something to say, as opposed to what it is they have to say. lol

Likely true but, this is the craziest draft I ever saw, and nothing will surprise me.

Care to place a wager on the Dolphins pick?

My preference is to trade back.

Rumours Cleveland looking for 3 1st round picks. I would happily take their 35th, 71st & 106th pick for #19.

Would give the Browns 3 1st round picks and they would still have a pick in each round barring the 2nd.

It's all very well wanting to trade back in such a deep draft but so does just about everyone in the entire first round this year.
