Moore tells the Miami Herald he is auditioning for his next team

or maybe it's just that he's a realist understanding that despite his strong showing last seasn, T-Hill was drafted to be the future... and a strategic planner thinking a few contingencies ahead, as do most successful people in business and other professional endeavors. Ya think?

u need to fill us in on this "strong showing" season your talkin about, we beat garbage teams who were also out of the playoff in the last half of the season, i dont understand how that classifies as a "strong showing", maybe if the dolphins beat the new england patriots or the new york giants u'd have a case but beating non-playoff teams when your already out of the playoff hunt is not a strong showing by no means. Patriots owned us both times we played and moore helped us in gettin owned with his clumsy fumblingness as per usual. He is acting like a selfish teammate who is all about himself and its starting to show.

..well that's your opinion and you're entitled to it although in mine, your namesake probably cost Moore a few wins with his breadbasket and through-hands dropsies in the red and end zones.

oh, and speaking of that do ya think maybe it's time to change your nick or do you wanna continue to have your online persona associated with a mentally-unbalanced, female-battering, redzone-butterfingered disruptive locker room cancer?

Do u still have that blind homer tag you made for junk and can I use it under my name? :D

as i thought, dodge the question and try to change the subject. How did Moore do against the jets in that monday night game? did we even score a touchdown? that revis 99 yard touchdown Int courtesy of matt moore was a nice showing for him last year eh? lol

Why are u still representing a POS with no connection to the team u supposedly love? Matty was out there trying, rallying the troops, salvaging pride while your namesake ayehole was throwing him and everyone else under the bus. So sorry, I' ain't inclined to respond to someone flashing one of the team's biggest villians and detriments.

Moore went 6-3 as a starter, then sat back and watched as they paraded Peyton Manning, Matt Flynn, Alex Smith and who-knows who else through the office, then signed a washed-up wannabe and drafted a QB at #8.

And some posters in here thought they did soprano wrong with the Harbaugh thing. Moore got treated 10X worse.

Yet in all that Moore never complained a bit. Not once.

Put a chump like garrbage in Moore's shoes and it would have been thermonuclear. He would have been running off whining and crying to the media and screaming bias and "Unfair!!!" on every street corner in Dade/Broward/PB.

The man is not complaining NOW. He is just stating the facts. He knows he can't win this job long-term.

He wants a team of his OWN. That is a MAN, and a professional. I am a fan of Matt Moore.

think u mean this, but it's pretty customized :idk:

Why do people keep saying this? Moore was 6-6 as a starter. It's as if the first three games he started doesn't count or something.

I disagree. While Ireland and Ross went behind Sparano back in their search for another head coach, Ireland atleast talked to Moore before actually bringing in competition for him.

dont matter what team you put him on, he is a backup whereever he goes, that is evident to anyone who understands the game. He was a backup in carolina, he was a backup in miami, and he will be a backup where he goes.

It really does show people's bias when they conveniently forget Moore lost his first 3 games as a starter and state he went 6-3 as a starter instead of 6-6. They also love to forget all of his fumbles that resulted in turnovers which definitely cost us a few games. He played OK throughout the season but the big reason we began to win was the D started playing 1000x's better.

Moore nor Girrard will never lead this team to a SB and that is the object of an NFL season, so I don't understand how people that bagged on Henne or other QB's for that same reason cling to either one of them as to being named the teams starter. Througout training camp Tanny has proven to be able to adjust to the speed of the game and is progressing nicely and probably according to the coaching staff ahead of schedule. I'm in full support that to really progress Tanny's learning curve he needs to be named the starter. It's time to let the rookie have his run with the #1 offense against a #1 defense consistently to see what he can do and how quickly he corrects his mistakes.

mnphinfan , since you want to be thorough - lets not forget that Matt Moore had virtually no training camp with the Dolphins last year because of the lockout and I think he wasn't signed until what little training camp there was had already started. Therefore, realist that I am, I forgive Moore for the hiccups he had getting rolling. Also, as I recall those 3 games were not all blow outs. We came close to winning against both the Broncos and the Giants. The Broncos was a miracle comeback by Tebo and The Giants had to come roaring back to win in the 2nd half. NOW do you understand?

Tannehill has one decent preseason game. Let's all see how it plays out. Moore won 6 of 9 for this team and saved us from the garbage formally known as Henne. I think it's anyone's game and for Tanne to start he has to continue to improve and shine, and Moore has got to be ineffective. But we need a lot more than one game to see that. I don't expect them to decide until after the 4th game.

The D and STs won 6-9 - Moore is evey bit the TO machine that Henne was

Virtually no training camp because "he lost his snaps" (he isn't a good practice player - his own words) If Moore cannot distance himself from Henne he sure as heck won't distance himself from Tanney

And unlike David Garrard, who the OP seems to love, Matt Moore is at least man enough to take the field and EARN his paychecks. So you can run and tell that. Homeboy.

Ya I feel bad for Matt. Starting to get the idea it's not really a fair competition after all. They're just working on building Tanny's confidence ..... everything else with the other QB's is fluff at this point. Was hoping Philbin wouldn't be so pigheaded about it, but then again all "new" regimes act like this.
