I'd take Jeff Fisher as the Dolphins coach too..

All Andy Reid does it make the playoffs year in and year out.. No he has not had great postseason success well neither did Don Shula at a point in time..Does that mean he is a bad coach? Same thing with Bill Belicheck..

They just ran into great teams.. The Eagles lost to 3 super bowl winners..No shame in that.

You have only 2 choices as a sports fan....Either:1, your team sucks/is so-so every year, or 2, It is a perennial +.500 team, makes it to the post season, and competes for a championship now and then. If people here follow any pro team because they want them to WIN IT ALL every season, forget it. It just doesn't work that way. Stick to your Madden, MLB, NBA, NCAA video games. Because that's the only place you can get that kind of satisfaction.

I can see it now....we clean house, get a "franchise" QB, have five really good seasons, but either just miss, or lose a super bowl. The coach, owner, and FO would be attacked, and called out just like it is now.

Exactly there is no coach in any sport that wins a championship every year..Unless your the Celtics or UCLA of old..it just does not happen..

Make the playoffs, contend I am happy.

I don't play Madden so that blows your theory out of the water. This franchise has given me plenty of 10, 11, and 12 win seasons. Yeah that is great, but I want a Championship, and I don't see Reid or Fisher doing that.
 
I would love Andy Reid here.

It's not the best use of judgement by making his offensive line coach the defensive coordinator (Juan Castillo) but Reid knows what he is doing. He's one of the NFL's better head coaches and he usually attracts top of the line assistants. Coaching is the main problem down here...why would anyone be against a great coach?

To mr. flynryan, or "Mr. Contradiction", every new head coach is a 're-tread'...unless you really want to go down the assistants route again like we did with Sparano...and Cameron...and Wanny...

No. Besides the obvious concerns that he's had his chance, and just can't cut it, he seems somewhat burned out. He needs to take a few years off.

You are right Junc TO in his prime was a terrible weapon! Great Vick lead Atl to 1 Championship game. Was is 4 or 5 McNabb lead the Eagles to? McNabb was let go for the same reason Reid will ultimately be let go failing to win the big game! All this Dream Team talk is the death nail! Just like when San Fran bought Steve Young and George Seifret their Superbowl! A team makes that kind of splash in free agency you better win.

Yeah Junc he is a idiot for making Vick his franchise QB! The guy is a coach killer and you might have missed it in his last interview, but is getting very close to a meltdown. Vick isn't a leader he is a sociopath! Google it bed wetting, fire starting, and animal cruelty is the triangle of terror, signs of a sociopath. Normal people don't strap dogs to rape stands, they don't choke dogs, they don't drown dogs, they don't electricute dogs, and they don't steal or adopt weaker innocent dogs with the only purpose of putting them in a cage as a training device to be killed. I spent 2 years running a animal sanctuary in Akron, Oh and I have seen first hand the violence and brutality that is Mike Vick!

I don't give a god damn if Goodell fell weak to Tony Dungy and his agenda! Let's not forget by the by laws of the league and player code of conduct. If a player is found guilty of bank rolling a illegal gambling operation they are ban for LIFE! Vick of his own testimony in Federal Court did just that!

So don't you dare tell me what I deserve because I won't compromise my moral standard for the sake of winning! I would gladly ride out Chad Henne, then bring in the likes of Andy Reid and his lack of moral character for a few extra wins!
 
I would absolutely take Reid as our head coach as he is definitely better than Sparano and he is a much better GM than Ireland. Even if we kept Ireland around, Reid's influence may be enough to keep Ireland from doing something stupid. If Nolan could get back on track as DC and we can get a top 5 pick next year (Luck, Barkley, or Jones), we are looking pretty darned good.

It is not a contradiction because I was pointing out those that do follow a long Adam! I said I don't want Reid because of many reasons from he just can't get over the hump, to his alignment with human garbage. I don't want him or that associated with the Dolphins. Which those are the same reasons I don't want Fisher guy can't get over the hump, and always has off field.issues surrounding his team.
 
Reid has been there how long and they have yet to win a championship? They went all out and purchased a Ferrari of a team for him, and these are the results he brings? If he were in S. Florida there would be war going on among fans and the media.

Apparently you have never met Philly Fan? They boo'd Santa Claus, and have a jail in their stadium. Trust me dealing with the South Florida media and fan base is like a day on Seasame Street compared to Philly Fan!
