The difference between these 2 is pretty clear. Muhammed, in his prime, is a gamebreaker and playmaker. McKnight is neither. In McKnight's "breakout" year in dallas, he was only good for 50 catches so he is not a ballhawk (and god knows how many times he was a target of a pass to come up with 50 catches). Musim averages over 50 catches a SEASON for his career. Even last year he got twice as many balls thrown at him than Mcknight. NO COMPARISON!!!!

ya and how many games did mcknight start last year? was mcknight the number one last year like muhammad? did mcknight ever play in a system that passed the ball 65% of the time and couldn't run the ball? did mcknight play on horrible teams that were always behind and were forced to throw? was mcknight ever the ONLY option his team had on offense?

if mcknight was in muhammad's position he would have just as good stats as muhammad......he is better after the catch and has good hands....all yor numbers are misleading.......oppurtunity is half the battle in the nfl.....

He got the opportunity by beating other guys out though. McKnight is not bad, but Muhammad was one of the league's premier receivers just two years ago. Now he is back down to a level probably one step above McKnight.

muhammad is a good wr, but some of you guys are making him out to be an all pro......he had what, 1100 yards a few years ago? who cares, beuerline threw for like 4500 yards that year......and the team sucked......muhammad played ok, but was a product of the system, just like when frank sanders hauled in a load of passes and topped 1000 yards.....

Being a product of the system works both ways. What I mean is if you are on a passing team (which by the way the Panthers are not) and you get the ball as much as Musin has over the years AND you are the only threat, then the defenses have only one focus....YOU. Musin has put up the numbers he has put up against double teams and zones rotating to stop him and him alone. And yet he has STILL put up those numbers.
You people are getting tunnel vision. Take off the teal and orange classes and see things for what they are. You should not be comparing Mcknight/Muhammad you should be comparing Muhammad/Chambers. If you don't think defenses geared to stop you can't make a difference then look at Chambers numbers from year one to year two, or McMichael's from early last year compared to the end of the season. Chambers has potential, Musin has stats to prove what he can do. As for Mcknight being a better player after the catch you must be smoking something. That is the best part of Muhammads game, besides his hands. Musin is younger, stronger, faster, better hands, better size, better after the catch, better route runner than Mcknight and all the above also would be true about a comparison of Musin/Chambers except the age part. Get a grip people, I love the fins also but just because they play for us does not make them the best at every position.
BTW if ya don't believe me jus pull up the stats on Madden, and of course NO ONE can disagree with THOSE rankings LMAO !!! j/k
