That's possible, but he has had numerous injuries. His draft status is a question as he's being called somewhat injury prone. I did like him quite a bit though for the 3rd. I'm just saying there were arguably better T prospects that slide further last year.
Some stuff from scout.com:
Gone to California
by Mitch Dobbs of BamaMag.com,
Wesley Britt is currently in Orange County, California training in preparation for April’s NFL Draft. Britt is recovering from a hairline fracture suffered in Senior Bowl practice that caused him to miss the All-Star game. He is training with Chuck Williams, a former Mr. Universe noted for working with athletes.
Britt said he will attend the NFL combine later this month, but he might be limited in what he can do. He said he didn’t expect the injury to severely damage his draft stock.
Britt's injury was not to the same leg he broke in 2003.
“I’m hearing that it shouldn’t hurt me too bad,” Britt said. I’ve just got to keep fighting and keep going hard.”
Britt was awarded the prestigious Jacobs trophy following the 2004 season, given to the Southeastern Conference’s best blocker.

If you look up the word “snakebit” in the dictionary, Alabama OT Wesley Britt might be pictured. Earlier in his career, Britt looked like he was going to be a top 5 pick. He was tall, angular with good mobility and a tenacious run blocker. His coaches raved about his work ethic. The problem with Britt has been his struggles with injuries. After having an All American caliber season in 2003, he broke his leg against Tennessee. He came back last year, but struggled with a bunch of minor injuries that impacted his mobility. He needs work, but he is a tough kid with a great frame who needs to gain weight. Given some time with a good pro coach, he is a rare prospect who could become a very good left tackle.
