MikeO said:Boston is injury prone. Chambers has a history of getting dinged here and there. Miami will carry 5 WR's and Thompson is going nowhere.
He may not play much, but he is here.
BlitPhinFan said:What are the top 4 that you see? If it's Chambers, Booker, Thompson and Boston... then where do you see Welker and Gilmore falling into place. We have a good number of WR's on the roster right now.

booker
boston
gilmore
gilmore's speed makes him the #4 imo. welker will probably make it as the kick returner and we will keep 1 more guy between thompson, newsome, mann, davis etc....
BlitPhinFan said:So you think we may keep 6 then? I am hoping we do. Do you think the 6th will be on the practice squad or active roster? If Welker takes the 5th spot like he will on the active roster as the KR. Then how do we justify keeping Thompson on the practice squad? Thompson in the senerio you state will be trade bait, but who do you think would ante up?

Very true. My ultimate wish is to keep 6 WRs, but I just don't see that happening.MikeO said:Maybe, time will tell. I Just think if he is our #5 WR then one injury and we might be in trouble.
You could try and sneak him by as a #5 WR to save a roster spot, but we better pray no other WR's go down because once we cut Thompson he will get work somewhere else and we would be scrambling for another WR.
Jesus Christ rocks!!:rocker:MikeO said:Now what? Im not being negative? Im not bashing anyone's opinion. I am pointing out I think they will carry all of these WR's. Jesus Christ., where is the dark cloud?????????? Most people agreed, I didn't. And I never ripped the guy, I said he was right but I think Thompson won't be cut.:shakeno: :shakeno:
I just presented an opinon. Get over yourself. :shakeno:

BlitPhinFan said:Possibly, but what would we ask for? We're not going to trade anyone but a scrub at RB, I wouldn't think. So, are we looking at a 6th for Thompson and an unnamed back? I don't think that would be fair to us, but I don't see us getting too much more, really.
DBoston80 said:..oddly enough DT would fit in nice with Philly IMO..maybe him and Minor for a 5th??
DBoston80 said:My WR depth chart goes as follows...
1. Chamber's-I dont care about his numbers..he's the biggest threat on the team.
2.Booker-I was impressed by Booker Monday..I was there and he runs routes very well..(showed some excitment also)..he's a modern day Mcduffie.
3.Boston-Everyone know's how I feel about his talent..If healthy he will be a force.
4.Gilmore-Very impressive a great fit for the #4
...Guy's I like DT..but his welcome is running out with me, If he had not made that game winning catch vs. the Pat's..he may have been done in the offseason...sorry DT ..but gilmore is a better ST'er and were not cuttin Wes.....you may be the odd man out.
MikeO said:1) he isn't right.
2) in this thread I agreed Thompson sucks, I just said he probably won't be cut because you can't count on Boston to stay healthy and Welker is nothing more than a kick returner.
3) I wasn't being "negative" at all in this thread :shakeno:
