I just think it's kinda weak to indict a guy for not being a "championship" player when he hasn't had the opportunity. He's proven plenty of other times that he's a money man.

You're right. I should have clarified my remarks a little better.

By stating he hasn't had a championship opportunity, you tacitly agree with me that he hasn't proven himself a clutch, champion player YET. But, and I know I am repeating myself, he has had 3 "conference championship opportunities", and has played substandard in all 3 in my opinion. Just think Wade-mania is jumping the gun a bit. That may be different in a couple of weeks.

This depends on your definition of big games, and in what I consider big games the stats say you are wrong. But no matter, as you implied we will never agree on this. And yes, I could be proven wrong on this topic, but so could you.

I already have money on the game aplenty, how about me with a Heat avatar (that would pain me greatly) and you something with Dallas?

Stats dont tell the whole story. Have you honestly not witnessed him take over a game? I am sorry if you havent been privileged enough to see it... it is really something.

As many of you know I am a Pistons fan but due to the class shown by the Heat fans I am wishing the Miami Heat the best of luck
 
Man i remember when the whole Shaq trade happend, Caron was my favorite player. I was hoping the trade would be Wade, Grant and Odom for Shaq b/c i loved Caron, now looking back, i am sooo glad they didnt do what i wanted(cept i woulda loved to keep Caron some how or atleast sign him as a FA some point in the near future)

When the trade was going to happen..I knew that there was no way in hell that Riley would trade Wade...

You wanted to trade Wade instead? I remember that the first sigh of relief I got was when Steven A Smith reported that the discussions started with Riley telling the Lakers that Wade was untouchable under any circumstances...and then Riley told the Lakers that Dorrell Wright was also untouchable.

What held up the deal for a few days was that Riley really wanted Kareem Rush in the deal.

Can you imagine if shaq was traded to Dallas? Life would be so much easier with the diesel in the middle. Now we gotta go through Shaq AND WAde. :eek:
