New details emerge, don't see how Marshall isn't suspended

All charges were dropped, he was never arrested, fined, etc. Can't suspend someone when you have nothing to suspend him with.

well how many times has Starks been charged or been arrested pretty sure not anywhere near the amount of time s marshall has which is like a dozen.
And I guess u missed my thoughts on the incident. i said I felt like it was an accidental bump if he hit the police officer never said he intentially tried to hit the officer but of course twist it like u want.
i still feel starks should have showede better judegement than to have a vehicle possibley overcrowded in that circumstance.None of us were privy to what actually happened there either.
The good thing is starks has not been frequently arrested for the same crap over and over again like marshall

Cripes, I swear you are "nyjunc" in disquise. You seem to really be all over this getting Marshall suspended thing. Just what in the heck are your motives here?

No one has any real clue but Marshall and his wife as to what happened. He has a serious mental health issue, and is now taking the necessary steps to deal with it and better his life. I applaude him for coming out and saying that he suffers from BPD. How easy do you think that had to have been? Is he cured, not by any stretch, but he is trying to get his life back together. Is it likely that in the future his BPD will get the best of him? Yes it is, but I am praying that it doesn't happen. I am actually feeling sorry for Marshall because just as it appears things seem to be turning around for him, these reports come out dragging it all right back to the forefront. Hard to try to put something behind you when every 3 weeks it's gets thrown right back in his face.

Done with my rant....

PS - I will now apologize to nyjunc for comparing him to Crypt Keeper. Even Junc doesn't say stuff this stupid.

I dont think he will be suspended either because if the police cannot determine what happened how ill goodell. Im sure this report may keep marshall on the radar and another even minor incident may cause a suspension. he may also be helped by the lockout being in place. i still would not put anything past NFL, because Rotlisberger should have never been suspended last year

dlockz, If I am assuming correctly, it is not so much that you are anti-Marshall as you are simply saying that due to his past behavior, it is very likely we have not seen the end of this type of thing with Marshall and it's going to end badly?

Despite my support for Marshall, I do agree with you. He has a heck of an uphill climb, and it would be irresponsibile to think he won;t have his ongoing issues and setbacks. I just pray they are minimal and not career or life altering.

I do not think he will be suspended. With the Roethlisberger comparisons...Ben was actually being actively investigated for the sexual contact / rape. Marshall was never being actively investigated for anything (that we are aware of) in this incident, his wife was. Big difference IMO.

marshall's skills love, Marshalls head not so much , marshall's behavior not so much.
The worst thing is many people on this site bashed marshall and said we would never bring in such a low character guy and now that we have him they wanna forget what they said.
I actually defended marshall before he was here and still can say he is not as bad as some but the crap does get old.

of course you defended him then, as you'd still likely be defending him if elsewhere, as well as most other players or teams, - so long as it's not Fins-connected. What else is new?

I have defended Henne for a while and last I checked he was a dolphin. at least im not a hypocrite like many on this site who will trash a player when he is elsewhere but when he is a phin oh he is the greatest.

I hear ya. I was thrilled to get Marshall, but knew the type of baggage he was bringing with him and that at some point in time we would be dealing with the same type of stuff with him. I was just hoping (by putting on the teal and coral colored glasses) that there would be no problems while he was with the Dolphins. It's disappointing, but not surprising. Still pulling for him though!
