New NFL Domestic Violence Policy

Further, why be sure of guilt? I mean, you can NEVER EVER lay hands on a woman..EVER, so
even if she's coming after you with a knife, or other deadly weapon, that's that. BAN!

Maybe if they let some of these guys puff they wouldn't be fighting. They would be eating and laughing.
Its about time they have rules in place so in the future players will know that if they want to hit anyone that the NFL will not accept that.
If they want to hit someone off the field then get into boxing or MMA.

There is gonna be all kinds of stipulations on this. What kind I don't know. But the league is not messing around.
 
all these scenarios people are bringing up because of this new policy, is cracking me up!!! :lol:

If a player is with a woman that would do that, they aren't going to do it because of this policy, they would have already been doing it. and if the players are with a woman like that, then they are the idiots.

There is no blackmail angle. The NFL or NFLPA isnt going to allow lifetime bans on hearsay. I think its safe to say the burden of proof is going to be pretty high when handing out lifetime bans.

Doesn't matter whether the NFL will enforce it or not...just the threat will be enough with some of these guys...expect to see a bunch of NFL wives with new "toys"...
 
It may never even get to the nfl even if it's not legit cause a player now facing a 6 game or lifetime ban if found guilty or whatever the parameters are may just want to pay off even a fraudulent case just to eliminate the possibility of losing his meal ticket

Maybe I just look at it this way cause I work in insurance and encounter fraud every day
 
The risk of recruiting a player with Brandon Marshall's track record is now magnified 5X.
It also means that the dangers of recruiting players with mental health issues (Jeffy had a natural skill in wanting them) is also magnified. Players with obvious skills but obvious issues will be left to other teams that are not as selective. Improving the accuracy of the personality assessment becomes a much bigger deal.
 
We have our first culprit , that didn't take long.
