He has, however he came to camp this year out of shape, and carrying extra weight, and he knew it was his fault for his release from the Chargers. Hopefully this is a wake up call for him, and he is in better shape. When he is in good shape, he can be a good rb.
 
This was a shocking move. I guess that means that Minor and Gordon will be gone soon.

Well it's 6:00 now, so unless we made a last min trade with somebody, Gordon is gone. Chatman will take Minor's duties as the backup returner and the backup to Ronnie Brown in the first four games. Morris will prob be the 3rd RB and a ST's guy.

In Miami atleast. Someone will take travis. Put him behind a decent Oline and he will be a gamer. Atleast i pray he does. He has never complained and always showed up for work in Miami.

Sometimes at the deadline, there are alot of releases, and trades that go through, so it could still be announced if a trade was done in maybe an hour or so.
 
Was Chatman released from San Diego? What round was he drafted in? Has anyone ever seen the guy play?

Chatman was released by the Chargers because it was too crowded to keep him there. I believe that he went undrafted. I have seen him play and he is a damn good RB.

Yes. He has filled in nicely to give LT a break here in San Diego. This year he came into camp heavy, and out of shape, and new that his release from the Chargers was his own fault. If he comes into the Dolphins in shape, and lost some of the Lb's he can be a good runner for the Dolphins.
 
You guys think he is good enough to backup Ronnie instead of Sammy?

He backed up one of the best backs in the league for two years in LT. I say he could handle it. My only concern is he shape, and how is his conditioning.

the Phins would've never signed him if he wasn't in shape....have no fear ;)
