News on Feeley vs Frerote

When I used to live in S. Florida I would run into Dolphin players all the time. I would usually ask about whatever the hot topic was and you know what they'd always answer. Many times I asked who do you think will start at some position an they'd tell me their opinion. So why would I find it hard to believe that somebody else did the exact same thing I've done twenty or thirty times?

Because you live in South Florida - where Miami players probably live.

That's a long way from Cleveland. All of you numbnuts that believe this thread - please stay tuned for my thread on how I ran into George Bush in K-Mart and he told me who the next Supreme Court Justice was gonna be - Regis Philbin!!!!

I have said all along, the QB that I want to start is WHICHEVER QB gives us the best chance to win. That should be what we all (dolphin fans) really want.

In all reality, both will probably start at least 1 game this year. Very few QB's start every game for their team in the NFL. Especially with our oline...

You know, this is a real tough post to respond to. You are right, as Dolphins fans we really should start the best quarterback on our roster. However this is a difficult situation. We have Gus Ferotte, who is a proven solid backup, well past his starting days(which were marginal); and we have AJ Feeley, a quarterback who could either completely suck or he could light up the scoreboard in Linehans wide open offense. Of my 500+ posts, at least 1/3rd of them have been in referance to Feeley, defending him or whatever. The truth is that we know what we get with Ferotte, and what we get isnt much. With Feeley, we know that he is young, he has all the arm strenght and accuracy to take this team to the next level; the only thing we dont know is if the progression we saw end of last year will carry over to this year. I think that after last years debacle, we owe Feeley a chance to prove his worth, at least for a few weeks.

That would make sense if we didn't know for a fact (this was known before this thread) that CC travels to Cleveland regularly.

So basically, you have a claim that a player is in a place he regularly goes to, engaging in an activity that players are known to engage in, answering a question players regularly answer and the answer is an opinion that matches the opinion of other team personnel.

A better analogy would be if you were in the White House in a meeting with Bush and you asked him how the war on Iraq was going and he said it was
going well.

Niether is breaking news and both reflect the opinion that the responding party is likely to have.

Frankly, the only reason to question this post is if your so opposed to the opinion that you'll ignore all evidence against it or if you you live your life in such a small circle that you find it unfathomable that famous persons ever come in contact with those who aren't famous.

CC may have been in Clev, may have said it. Doesnt change the FACT that camp has not started yet. The com is not over. It has been widely reported and believed that Gus is ahead at this point, he should be, he is comfortable with the system. AJ cant possibly be as familiar and comfortable yet. CC comments are most likely based on what he saw at minicamp, which may or may not be the same after camp. It is up to AJ to show he is the better qb, camp and preseason will be the determining factor.

It's just amazing how someone who is posting for the first time always has a great story to tell.
