Manning to Tyree = Best SB Play EVER!!!!
nyjunc said:Sure it does, when Jay didn't play you lost more than you won and when jay did play you won alot more than you lost.
So jay plays on defense then

:french: you admit Ray sucked like 12 (or more) turnovers in 4 games yet you still use his injury time as reason he(Jay) was OK. im done :hitself:nyjunc said:Sure it does, when Jay didn't play you lost more than you won and when jay did play you won alot more than you lost.

nyjunc said:On a number of occassions folks around heer have told me how great your D and Ricky were and that anyone could win w/ them yet when Jay goes down and you stop winning it's b/c Ray sucked. You can't have it both ways, last year we missed Chad for 32 games and won 2 of 3 w/ Quincy Carter. If your team is good enough you can overcome injuries, what happened in '02 just shows that Jay was more important than you guys are willing to admit. Just to be clear I never said he was great, I never said he was above average but he was decent and was the QB for alot of wins for you guys cominf into an almsot impossible situation. Give the guy a little credit.
That isn't both ways, that is one way. Bascially Miami had a team that won inspite of Fiedler. Then a player that came in that was worse and the team couldn't over come it. What happened on '02 shows how crappy Lucas was that he couldn't even not lose.
nyjunc said:That absolutely is both ways, you guys make it seem like you had this great team and jay brought you down when in fact your win % was MUCH higher when he was behind C. Again, Lucas was 6-3 as a starter in 1999 for the Jets so obviously if he has enough talent around him he can win.
exactly. Lucas was better under a different coaching staff which in turn could mean that Fielder could be decent under a different coach.Dol-Fan Dupree said:That is one way. I watched Lucas in 1999. Miami didn't have that Lucas.

Griese too looked horrible under Wanny![]()
nyjunc said:Yes they did but we did a better job not exposing him.
Dol-Fan Dupree said:no, they didn't. Unless exposing him is having him hand the ball off.
nyjunc said:The dolphins were 2-4 w/ him(though he didn't finish the 2nd buf game as they rushed Jay back) and in 2 of the 3 losses he finished he threw 33 times against buf and and 39 times against GB. That's alot of pass attempts for Ray plus ray was made to look like an NFL QB b/c of Key, Chambers did not step up like Key did for Ray in '99.
How many games did Miami win when Fiedler had to throw the ball over 30 times.
nyjunc said:I;'m not sure what this has to do w/ Lucas? The point is Lucas threw the ball too much and was exposed.
nyjunc said:Ray wasn't the reason we won and I was laughing when you guys signed him.
