NFL 2014 CUTS Tracker

Not all players are created equal when it comes to getting cut during the preseason, or really any time before the trade deadline (as per the rules posted after the jump). If a player has acquired four years of service, placing the player on waivers automatically terminates his contract and makes him an unrestricted free agent.

Does this mean certain released players don't have to go in team order (records) to be claimed?
 
I'd pay The Firm. Maybe Benjarvis can play linebacker.

Also saw that Lonnie Pryor is out. Did he suck it up or what? I thought he'd be a good blocker.
 
Josey looked good in a similar offense with the Eagles. He would give Miami a different type of running back, small and quick.

Pryor's not a bad blocker but there are few fullback positions available in today's NFL, so to make a roster you have to be pretty good overall.
 
I'd scoop theo Reddick for that type role before I would josey...i think I'd bet money that mikell leshoure is cut in detroit

I'd look at Barth maybe?
