Well shoot. By my count that's now like 57 players that will be drafted in the first. Hot dang lol.

Oh I think he is the best player in the draft, it's just teams usually won't give up the farm to trade up for a RB anymore. It is not like most trade up into the top 5 were your looking at QB (whole different chart) or trades ups for an elite player at a premium position (normal chart).

If we didn’t have a budding star in our hands with Achane then I’d give up a 2nd round pick
Let's say that's the plan. They trade down, pick up 51 and draft Starks at 20.
Now pick 48 or 51 come up. I know it's relative to who's on the board. However, would you be opposed to pairing Starks with Watts if he is available at 48 or 51?
Safety would not longer be a weak spot on the team lol
That's where I'm at. I see the appeal of Jeanty. But man oh man, tell me we didn't think we already had our Barry Sanders when he was averaging like 9 YPC.
I think Achane could be great, and just don't see the need to upgrade it at this time with such a high pick. 2 years ago, sure. But not now

For anyone looking for an Edge player to watch, I came across Danny Striggow from Minnesota. Im intrigued. He's a late day 3 guy but he caught my eye and felt the need to share. Good competition for Edge #4/5 with Bell, Kamara, Goode, and Murphy. About half the teams met with him at the Senior Bowl, Miami was NOT one of them.

Can he recapture that 2023 form with a better OL? We’ve got 2 huge reasons to go OL high in this draft. Helping Achane achieve his potential and keeping Tua upright.

I would hope so.
It's difficult to continue to have to run horizontally 5-7 yards before going vertical, plus having to continuously dodge 2-3 defenders in the backfield by time you get the handoff.
I have long maintained and have been consistent, that if Miami TRULY commits to fixing this dang O line then the offense of the first half of 2023 would be the norm, including Achane.if Miamis first 3 picks were O line I would be ecstatic lol
Also, the way I see it is Miami currently has 1 dependable starting O linemen. Jackson and Daniels are solid, but I have zero confidence either will play all 17 games. Paul? Well overall his play wasnt inspiring to feel confident. LG, we all know it's Eichenberg right now but few are willing to admit it. Brewer is the best and only starter, minus a hunt like fluke injury, that I am confident in for the whole season.
Miami has put themselves in position to where they need to have quality depth, because the depth will get plenty of snaps this year.
If our draft went as follows, GRYPHONK would be so freaking happy
13- Membou or Banks
20-( in a trade down) Simmons or Booker
48- Saavinea or Ratledge
98- Wilson or Fairchild.
I would have no problem with our first 3 picks being O line
