NFL DRAFT & RUMORS MEGATHREAD

but that dude doaks and ballage were such obvious busts, but grier gonna grier.
I rarely do this, but in Mr. Grier's defense, Doaks was Pick #244 in the 7th rd. He did score 2 TD's in a game against Cincy. I don't know what happened to him, we need a guy like that now, I guess Mattison is him.

I'd wait a little bit longer. Just to see what transpires on draft day. I still believe there is some trade magic or another rabbit in Grier's trade hat. If there was ever a draft to trade down multiple times due to the depth at need positions, this would be the one. This Dline and RB group is so deep, teams will be finding serviceable players in UDFA.
Two trade downs in R1 might not be a bad idea. I know there has to be a trade partner. Two in this scenario.

Maybe you're looking at Harmon and Nolen instead of Grant, but that could work. Perhaps, Grier could add an additional 3rd and 4th rounder. You know, the stocking stuffers! 😆

It wouldn’t surprise me if Grant goes 4th at dt behind those 2. If teams want 3 techs. Plug and play 3 tech fits are easy to project. Pretty safe calls.

That's the hope. Miami could get a very favorable deal trading down from #13. Think the year Wilkins was drafted at #13. Philly offered several picks including a #1 in the following draft for the opportunity to trade up. Not saying Miami will get a #1 next year. That'll depend on how desperate a team is and the player available.
The only speculation I've heard is Kansas City and Philadelphia, but it's all a guess right now. Jeanty, Will Campbell or Will Johnson could entice trade ups.

I'm just connecting the dots.

The road path with this style offense will never win anytbing. If we don’t win the division we are cooked every year. As long as it’s Tua leading it.

Our style offense doesn’t travel well period. Let alone on the road in elements in win or go home games.
Agree. McDaniel absolutely has to adapt this offense, and I think that's adding a power run game to complement the speed of Hill, Achane, Waddle etc.

Meaning solidify the left guard spot and draft a back who can win at better than league average in short yardage. A young Frank Gore type.

That's really what's holding this team back. Think about how often Miami moves the ball well, at ease even, and then can't convert 3rd and one.

I don’t see much with storm but as a udfa add your point carries
I understand. But remember Weaver's secondary was highly ranked most of the season which included Storm Duck. Miami's secondary ranked in the top 3-5 in almost every category. Got to take that into consideration.

Which is why I've mentioned they appear to have big plans for all those kids they signed last year.
