NFL DRAFT & RUMORS MEGATHREAD

My big board is pinned on the draft forum.
Gotta disagree, we can argue Campbell Simmons and Membou being better but I dont think Grey Zabel Donovan Jackson Tyler Booker and Josh Connerly are better prospects for the Dolphins than Banks.

I think trading down a bit to grab a 2nd and drafting Zabel is my preference over drafting Banks if hes available at 13 and Campbell/Membou are off the board

I don’t see Booker as a fit for us. He is the best in a phone booth though, very powerful guy. I like Zabel, Jackson, Banks, Ersery, Ratledge, and Wilson as fits for us and would be happy with any of them at 48
Right, Booker doesn't move well enough to work in a ZBS scheme. I don't know about Ersery but the other OL you mentioned are much quicker and more athletic than Booker, especially Zabel.

It’s not that I dislike Banks. It’s just if you take an OL at 13 he better be able to play tackle.

He won the award for best lineman as a tackle, he tested great at the combine, has light feet and and 84 1/2 wingspan, and pretty much every scout has him a tackle, so why do you think he can't play tackle? It might even be his better NFL position over guard.

You can find a talking head to support any argument, doesn’t mean much. Yates had Fashanu above Joe Alt last year btw 🤣
Daniel Jeremiah has Zabel rated well above Banks…again not saying I agree think Banks is better but I don’t think he’s that much better to lose out on a 2nd rounder

And this why I want to trade down and grab an extra late 2nd/early 3rd, so we can get our G DT and S before the premium talents get picked off. Trade down to get 18 and 52 for 13, draft Donovan Jackson/Grey Zabel, then Darius Alexander/Alfred Collin’s etc at 48 and use 52 to grab Watts, he’s gonna be a future pro bowler imo.

Lol @eric Grier

Can't wait for Grier to not draft a starting Guard AND not draft any Dolphins legacies.
Nah, I'd not worry just yet. If it's another Charles Harris, who just about everyone sensed was going to bust, then of course it be time to worry. I happen to have a good feeling Miami will come out alright. The draft is deep in the areas the team needs. I'm pretty confident they'll get a few starters.
