I would be fine with taking Zabel with our first pick as long as we trade down from 13 for extra draft capital.

Even if we dont get the greatest value for doing that, we can still make good use of later round draft picks to use as ammo to trade up in rounds 2 3 4 and 5 for players who we dont think will drop to us.

So many times we see players who we want come off the board a few spots before we select.

Players with the athletic profile to play in your scheme is one thing, but drafting players that don't (Banks), but that already know your scheme, so you don't have to teach them your stupid convoluted scheme is a different thing entirely. This would be the latter. Lazy and "safe".
 
I think the trading down and still getting zabel is while it sounds good not only risky but unfounded. That said if banks gets by the bears at 10 I’d bet my house note he’s a dolphin.

Miami needs Patrick Paul insurance in addition to a plug and play starter at left guard. Just don’t be expecting elite at either. Safe is the word.

RAS - 9.49

Campbell:
NFL Combine Athleticism Score - 88
RAS - 9.91

Banks:
NFL Combine Athleticism Score - 78
RAS - 8.32
 
I mean look at it there is 4 busts on those comps. Even eifert Loveland wants to be a better pro than. But I do get the comp.

Lol, yep! 🤣 For some reason this year, most of the comps I've seen have been pretty horrible overall.
