If he makes it to 48, what does that tell you? It means things aren’t great with his medicals.

The money was just too much. I don’t think Grier knew that would happen, but I’m glad it didn’t happen to us.
Those mid to later picks won’t do much to help this team move up, at least not in the first two rounds.
Now, moving up from 98 to like 75 is more of a possibility.
Depends on who the player is. For Graham who’s a clear cut top 5 pick if it means giving up a 3rd to get it I’m okay with it. Any more than probably not. It’s an elite talent strapped draft and he’s one of the maybe 5 in it. While we have a ton of holes and might be needed, we aren’t fixing everything in a year so landing a top 5 player at a position of need is a massive win.
Yeah even for Hunt. Loved him he’s a great player but 20 million was always steep for him. Grier still sucks but letting those two go was a must unfortunately

I was watching the combine (sprints) with my wife in the room. She looked up and said this next guy is going to be good, not even knowing who it was. It was Starks, a guy I've been wanting since the end of the college season. At 13 MIGHT be a stretch, but trading down to around 20 would be perfect.

CAR has reported to be willing to move down for less than fair trade value. Pick 8 is 1400. We have 13 for 1150. 250 point difference and our 3rd is about 100 so that may be enough to make the trade. If an elite is falling, I would sacrifice a gamble 3rd round player for a trade up for a blue chip player in a heartbeat. Plus if we are trading Ramsey, that will be another potential pick for us anyways

Question is who you going up for? For membou I might do it but if he goes at 7 to the jets like I tbink he is that’s probably out. Not sure I’d make the move for anyone else really.
If Miami does go for Secondary at 13. I would much prefer Starks over the CBS personally.
There's like 15 names, if called I would be anywhere from ecstatic to ok with Miami drafting.
Starks is like number 15. He's on the bottom, but he's on the list lol. I have always, for some reason been big on safeties.
Heck, if Miami drafted Starks and Watts, it wouldn't be the smart thing, but I would for some reason be singing to the moon lol. I really don't know why.
