Watching TD do his final mock, he traded down twice in round 1 and ended up with picks 23, 48, 53 & 54.

Straight out of Madden stuff but if Grier did this, I wouldn't hate him so much. šŸ¤£

Definitely not in the same discussion as a Barkley or AP. In my opinion, I donā€™t really see him as special, I donā€™t see the hype. I mean, heā€™s good but heā€™s not a generational talent.

Yea I have him projected as very good, I donno about generational. For that price tag he better be AP 2.0

While not as bad as that draft we traded up for Dion Jordan at but to get to 2 that year we didn't give up close to chart type value. I think a lot of teams may be interested in trading down this year for more lotto tickets, so to speak.

Iā€™m not quite following you here, Jeanty is one of four blue chip prospects in the draft, clean as it gets, talented as anyone in the draft, gold jacket projection. He should not get past 4 imo

I suppose I could deal with this. Depends whoā€™s left on the board. Donā€™t like safety in the 1st but the extra 2nd helps and this is a safe pick. Atleast weā€™d have one starter in the secondary for the next 4 years lol

Well, like hoops said - if Starks is one of the best 20 players in this draft... I wouldnt hate that. Just kinda want an OL/DL.

Picking up 51 would give you the flexibility to move back into the 1st as well. 48 and 99 would get you around the 30-32nd pick if a team was looking to move. Could do maybe Starks with Zabel/Grant if either is there. Donā€™t view edge as huge need but Mike green and Pearce would be two guys Iā€™d be interested in around then. Will Johnson seems to be losing steam hard possible he falls that far? Starks and Johnson would be nuts.

48 and 51 would get us around 23 area if we wanted to grab someone else we view highly.

Know people are against trading up but if you just picked up the 2nd itā€™s like free plus with contracts getting that extra year and bargaining ability with a 5th year option is a nice deal sweetener.

Starks/Grant and Saavinea or Ratledge

But Id prefer
Jihaad/Grant and best O line at 51
