NFL Live panel rips Philbin

Don't blow it with all on the line.

Hayden any idea who we will hire in 2015? Anything short of the playoffs this year, and Joe is lame duck, he is already lame, anybody but Ross would have tossed him after this debacle on and off the field!

One more thing about Joe. His press conference today was comical. He makes Rex Ryan look like Vince Lombardi.

DP: Any football fiber I have, Ross, Joe and Dawn do the opposite.

I don't know why anyone cares to listen to a guy who reasoned peeing his pants was a better option than holding it in on a every game basis. I mean would you rather someone call you a name, tease you about your mother/sister, or get their piss all over you.

Our society is so screwed up.

Do some of you guys defend Joe because you feel he is really a good coach? That the team is in good hands? Or is it more trying to make yourself feel better about the season ahead?

I do not get it.

It's a miracle Miami even had a chance to make the playoffs despite the 58 sacks given up, the loss of Brandon Gibson, the lack of a commitment to the running game, and the bullying scandal. Is the team in good hands? I don't know. I don't feel gloom and doom is on the horizon.

Some say he's incompetent, I disagree. Some say he isn't fiery or lacks a personality, I don't see it that way/don't care. Did Miami suck in those last 2 games? Absolutely. I just don't understand why you'd put all the blame on the coach for the team not winning. Why would they need the coach to "amp them up"? Shouldn't they want to win without the coach needing to push them into feeling that way?

Again, I find it funny how the ESPN is literally the only network that covers the NFL bashing the Fins. I'm not gonna defend Philbin as it gets nowhere, but ESPN is not exactly about hiring good character guys

Read up on Tedy Bruschi some time. That's all I'm going to say. Guy is a Richie Incognito who basically never got that fact out in public.

Funny to see him of all people weighing in here.

Now I find that particularly interesting because as someone who hates hypocrisy (with plenty of reason) and delights in shouting about it from the rooftops, I am developing a list of all the scumbags, criminals, miscreants, low-character sorts and network condoned and enabled racists (so long as it remains "on point.") To that end I've always considered Tedi one of their more sterling hires. Maybe I'm googling the wrong terms but nothing that's turned up at all contradicts that. So if in fact he's really just another "Do As I Say-Not As I Have Done" bloviating hypocrite, I'd be eager to be pointed in the appropriate direction. TIA

Jeff Darlington brings it…

So Philbin recognizes he needs to have a better pulse, but unlike Kevin O’Neill, he will get a second chance to overcome mistakes he made.

So O’Neill gets fired for letting harassment take place, but Philbin says he didn’t “name (Incognito) a leader.” He just… let it happen.

Jeff Darlington ‏@JeffDarlington 7h
Miami blames GM + asst GM for roster, OC for offense, trainer + asst coach for oversight, Incognito for harassment, players for leadership.

All great points.

Teflon Joe?

Why does Zac Taylor still have a job?

Maybe Lazor will rectify that situation.

Why would you put a young possible franchise QB in the hands of an inexperience , learning on the job QB coach ?
Doesn't make sense to me. Never did.
