NFL News : The Miami Dolphins Offensive Line "Unimaginably Pathetic"

Well our stats would prove otherwise when it comes to yards per carry, sacks allowed, yards per attempt. Most credible websites had or OL ranked in the middle of the pack with Armstead and Williams as top ten in their positions and Hunt in the top third of Guards.

Not even remotely as bad as this guy suggests.
I’m not even watching / reading it. Too much hyperbole in the title

While that is true, lets not pretend the OL was a playoff caliber line or something.

I mean you saw how bad it really was when Tua was sidelined and not available to help mask some of it’s deficiencies.

As previously pointed out KC saw a problem and addressed it head on despite the shortage of Ol guys around the league etc
Agreed. I think it was middle of the pack when healthy. We didn’t improve it in the off-season so we must really think Jackson and Eich are going to break out. I don’t see as my amateur eyes tell me both those guys are horrible. So let’s hope for some pleasant surprises from the new guy w the mullet, Wynn or someone else. Kinda spray and pray like we do every year 😂

Grier can't draft oline. We've used lots of resources and just came up with failures, way too many. That creates the kind of desperation that causes teams to hang on to draft picks that have kind of stunk. Now we HOPE the light comes on. I'm surprised McD is ready to go to war with the severe lack of talent that he has on the oline. When Armstead is healthy we can be average at times but we've seen what we can count on with him regarding his durability. When Armstead is out we start mixing and matching with sub par talent and the result isn't very impressive. Is that really good enough for a real Super Bowl run? The Chief's solved their oline problem by signing 3 free agents to come in and play, and they drafted Creed and another guy. The fix worked and they're back on top. All we did mainly was bring in a hugely unpopular coach. We'll see how it all shakes out.
Maybe we should blow off Cook and sign some quality oline if anybody worthwhile is out there. The problem may be that we just don't see anyone out there that is available that is better than what we have. There's still time to make the situation a little better. I have faith that McD is super smart and has a plan. Hope I'm right!

A lot of ignorance and hate in that post smh.
LoL... ignorance and hate? Soooo... you haven't heard that Tua was taking jujitsu to protect himself, and learn how to fall. Damn near every Bozo on ESPN have been making snide remarks and saying it won't protect him from concussions. But, whatever.

No, I’ve heard it. I’ve also heard people in here who agree with you. Brian Baldinger, I believe, did a video that provided evidence to the contrary.

I kindly suggest you find that breakdown or objectively rewatch the plays. As for the other part of my objection to you post(s), well that part it would seem is beyond redemption. All the best to you sir.

This is the problem with the internet. Anyone in this day and age can start a podcast and claim to be an expert on anything they want to. I have no idea who this supposed football expert is. While he certainly has the right to express his opinions, I don’t have to buy into anything he says.

I guess this is the type of thread you get when it is the off season and there is no actual Dolphin news to report. Thankfully the preseason is right around the corner and hopefully these so called internet experts will just disappear once the players are on the field again.

Snowflake alert! Talking about Tua, injuries, falling technique, throwing left handed, all now known as ignorance and hate. FYI

Yikes, you're looking hard for those things to find them there.

This guy does not deserve the 2 pages of reaction he has gotten for this drivel.

Calling an OL with Armstead, Williams and Hunt as 3 of the 5 starters "Unimaginably Pathetic" is beyond hyperbolic. It is just ignorance or clickbait, nothing more.

Is the OL great? No.
Is it terrible? No as well.

It's definitely the biggest question mark. But at least Grier brought in some proven, veteran help.

It's tough when you have so many young linemen, but also not impossible that they start developing.

Grier has been very patient with the young players on the line. Hopefully, it pays off.

The biggest problem causing Tuas injuries last season wasn't the O line, but his inability to get rid of the ball quickly. That injury against Cincinnati was totally his fault. NOT the O line. The hit against Buffalo the week before was a late hit, and Tua did NOTHING to break his fall. I will never understand why he always locks his arms straight down towards his feet, rather than back to brace himself. Daddy should have spent more time teaching him how to fall than how to throw left handed.
Couldn't agree more. Its easy/lazy to look at Tua's injuries and blame the OL. Evetime Tua was tackled, it looked like the defender was tackling a blow up doll. I'm hoping the thicker neck and Jujitsu help.
