Others have said that, and while it's good in theory, I can see it not working in practice - i.e. yes, it's actually possible that Jordan could be worse than Wheeler at OLB. He has never played the position, the instincts/reads are totally different, there would be a lot more run-stopping responsibilities (including shedding blocks, gap stuffing, POA - stuff that Jordan has proven to be bad at so far), a lot more pass coverage (not just on TE's - slots and RB's too). I fear putting Jordan at 4-3 OLB could well and truly mess him up for good.Why not move him to OLB and replace Wheeler...he cant possbilby be worse...he would have to sit indian style in the middle of the field to be a worse player than wheeler.
3-4 OLB would definitely be a possibility, and most of the front 7 have experience with a 3-4, but I doubt Coyle goes there. I think Jordan is stuck at 4-3 DE, which is not all bad; it took OV a couple years to get going and maybe things will click for Jordan this time...
