NFP Sunday Blitz-Is Tannehill being pushed up the boards?

I dont think KC is as deseperate as people think at Qb. Cassel the previous year was very damn good but injuries tore that team up last year. Cassel has had more than one very good year at qb so I think they could live with him at qb.

So a failed QB and sub par WR would be worth the #8 pick? ****ing Insanity!

Well we did that in 2007 with two different picks

I've been saying this for a month

Many that so highly tout the kid have NEVER seen anything he has done. He is probably a mid-2nd rounder....or worse, and that is EXACTLY what I have been saying.

Hoping the football gods are in our corner in that he is either:

Gone by 8, thus projecting another real talent to us instead
There at 8 and somebody DOES want him bad enough to trade up and give us a Washington to the Rams type of trade.

The kid looked VERY mediocre in a talented offense against pretty weak defenses for most of the season.
He has lots of issues that will take lots of time to develop. The worst might be, in probably 80% of the snaps I saw him take, he is locked onto his target as he first approaches the line of scrimmage. If I, a pedestrian fan, noticed this from early on in the season, and predicating the entire season, I guarantee you those that do it for a living already have.

I don't want any of these quarterbacks. They all suck. I mean Cousins, Weeden, and Tannehill. The Dolphins should roll with what they have, draft Russell out of Wisconsin if they have to take someone in the 5th round, get best player available, and hope for Barkley next year.

We will be good enough to win a few games, so we will be in the position next draft, so what do we do 3 or 4 first rounds pick's so we can move up to get Barkley.........we never done it this year so i cant see us doing it next year, so if Tannehill is there at #8 just take him............

So, you're comparing Tannehill with Barkley?

How did She turnout?

Tannehill and Weeden I think will both be gone by pick #22 in the first round. I dont think phins will draft a WR in the first round. they would draft a pass rushing DE/OLB or TE like Fleener before Floyd. they could draft WR in the second round.
I don't think Fleener makes it to the 2nd round.

'Just Take Him'? This is where we have gone as a franchise fan base. Just take him. ****ing crazy.

I hear you bro. We need to really do our homework as we need several positions to be filled on this team. I just hope Sherman,Philbin and Ireland are on the same page on Tannehill.

Hell yes he's being pushed up the boards

After all, there's nobody else you can get at the QB position so you're forced to feign excitement:lol:

weeden can play year one, osweiler can be a second round guy, i am very worried about over drafting a guy if he is not the guy, at least sherman knows

If we could trade back (or move up from the second/either way) to get Weeden at about 18, where the Ravens snatched Flacco (who in the hindsight of 20/20 vision, having taken them to 4 straight POs and won 5 games should have been our 08 move), I'd be more than happy.

I like Arron Murray next year, but I see us getting a project guy this year. Such as Cousins or Osweiler.

The talking heads talk up Tanny and then they will shat on the team that selects him - that is how it works in the most scrutinized league in N.A. - mark my words
