Not to beat a dead horse, but tannehill again

Apparently former nfl qb's who have had success in the league are off the mark too, right? I guess you missed the part about me saying it's what he needs to correct to elevate his game to the next level? If course every constructive criticism thread is grounded in pure hate of a player. GTFO of here.

I read it and I agree with you post, if he gets "better" at it he'd take the best level, no doubt. I just look at things differently, every qb misses throws all the time, even the great ones.

Dude his 65% of 43 passes, that's amazing even for elite qbs, can't expect him to be hitting 70% a game. Can you?

My biggest gripe about all of this is now EVERY miss is magnified too much.

My only gripe..

Take a peek at the scoreboard or scorecard - Tanny is fine and about where he should be for a 2nd year QB - considering the shambles of this O - WHO is your Offensive MVP so far this season? Who was the MVP of this game the last game the game before and the game before that...., and the game before that.... It was Tanny!

Luck is the one regressing if anything - and Luck isn't regressing either - but if you live by stats alone - Luck shoud be looking over both his shoulders - but here is the deal - no one wants to catch his throws in Indy - yet he cannot put up points

It still doesn't admonish him for repeatedly under throwing wide open receivers. There is no other agenda here. It's a fact. I'd be very interested to see how many deep balks tannehill has hit a guy who is open in stride. Get over the fact that you want to crucify me for daring to bring up a knock on a player and examine the facts.

I have seen Brady and Manning look pretty iddle of the class throughout there careers especially this year - but they get a pass - So thanks for your FACTs - NOW who is your MIA Offensive MVP????

So you don't see the 2-3 throws a game that would normally be td's or at least 40+ yard completions that should be made but aren't due to poorly thrown deep balls? That's ok to you when we are talking about the franchise qb?
FK it! STFU! Watch football as its fcking clear you only watch the Fins. Look it up Watch other games, watch other QBs! TANNEHILL IS AVERAGE IN DEEP THROWS! Not a glaring weakness, not worst ever, not he`s a bust... I fcking dare you to go watch some stats and comeback here with this BS...! I fcking DARE you!

explain to me how tannehill played bad today...and don't tell me he missed a pass.

Seriously? Where did I say he is a bad qb? Actually read what I posted in the op. It says he has an issue with deep balls because HE DOES! I can think of three throws he missed today in the first half that should have been 6 if ball placement was there. It's not a single game issue. If I had game film I probably could show you 10-15 throws to wide open guys that were mis thrown on blown coverages that probably could have been 6. That's all I'm saying. Nothing more. But it's what he needs to improve because his short game is money.

Seems to me Tannehill throws inside routes really well but struggles more throwing outside

Noway his outside throws are his strength. It's the deep ball and timing and knowing when to add power to the throw is what he struggles with.

All the Matt Moore worshipers in action again today. Once again Tanne is the offense, with no running game and he missed some throws. Please take the broken record off of the turntable. Matt Moore is not coming back, deal with it!

Matt Moore is far from the answer. I like tannehill. I think he has flashes that are leaps and bounds above what we have had the past decade, however winos not I'm not going to ignore an ongoing problem. This issue can't be registered in stats. You have to watch the film. Completions are still made on adjustments by the wideouts. Doesn't make the fact the play should have been 6 any easier to swallow when it's a 35 yard completion instead and it's all on ball placement.
